High quality exercise classes with many opportunities to attend every day. I also very much appreciate the E-gym that makes strength training (weight machines) user friendly and personalized by setting up the machines to fit my size and poundage with a tap of my wrist band. Instructors and staff are also top notch. I have only positive things to comment on after 10 years of active membership.

Wide variety of activities and classes. My son is in remission of cancer and needed PT and they offered a program to him for a year of free membership to get himself back to feeling good and strong before his cancer journey. Can't say enough about Spaulding PT - it is the best and the physical therapists are so knowledgeable and are the best at what they do. I've been a Quincy ymca member for over 30 years and go every single day - very clean facility and great staff !! 5 Stars isn't enough !!!

I wouldn’t usually post a bad review, but the customer service here is undeniably abhorrent. My daughter was belittled during her gymnastics class, the course Director was somewhat apologetic, but when I asked to be refunded for the classes that she did not attend, not the full course mind you, for the classes that she did not attend, I was given a credit. I thought that I had processed my cancellation of membership correctly, and I just went about my business. I figured at some point I could use that credit for something else in the future maybe one of the kids wanted to take a overpriced soccer class with a bunch of teenagers, teaching, barely, but then decided against it.I reached out to the director Alexandra Fontes, and she was extremely rude, and told me that since I did not process my cancellation of membership correctly that the credits would go to my back payments. Mind you this was in July or June? It is now the middle of October. We haven’t been back, they refuse to refund me, and at this point, it’s really not about the money! It’s really about knowing exactly who you’re supporting, and how little they offer. Sidenote, my children took a swim class here last year, and the instructors were incredibly rude to my children! My children who have never swam, they also told my children that they couldn’t use the restroom and that they were big enough to hold it. I’m not exactly sure why these classes are overpriced, since they are not really taught anything, and this is coming from someone who has had YMCA memberships and three different states, and multiple times in my life. As a child I remember going to the YMCA and it was so much fun! The two facilities that I’ve experienced, including this one here in Massachusetts have been disgusting. Filthy, smelly, rude stuff. Do not waste your money! They do less good than what you think they do.

I want to sincerely thank Maria McGuire for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Especially during the holiday season, she took the time to truly listen, understand my situation, and make me feel supported without judgment. She represents the very best of what the YMCA stands for: community, compassion, and integrity. Her empathy and patience made a real difference for me, both mentally and emotionally. Wishing her a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and deep gratitude for the light she brings to others.

We love our Level 1 swim class — it’s taught really well, and the facilities are perfect for the number of families participating. We’re also excited to start using the daycare services. The gym is super clean, and the equipment is really well kept. Overall, it’s been such a great experience so far!
