We’ve had the joy of being part of the Center community since 2021, and I truly cannot say enough good things. Both of our kids started here around four months old, and from the very beginning, we’ve felt a deep sense of trust and partnership with the teachers and staff. What stands out most is how well our children are KNOWN! Not just by their classroom teachers, but by all the teachers and administrators. It’s clear that they’re cared for as individuals and that connection means everything to us as parents. Our son, who will start school this fall, has grown and learned SO much during his time here. Thanks to the hands-on learning experiences, daily outdoor play (multiple times a day and yes, they’re kids so they get dirty sometimes…have you met a toddler boy?!?!), and genuine joy woven into every day, we feel confident he’s prepared academically, socially and emotionally. I am beyond confident in the Center and have never once questioned if my kids are safe, loved and cared for. The teachers are skilled, loving and incredibly dedicated. There is a true sense of community at the Center. The administration does a great job of organizing fun events for the kids and parents - parades, holiday festivities, and cute programs. Logistics wise, the Center is so centrally located to downtown. I frequently drop in over my lunch or just to say hi, which is so precious to me as a working mom. I recommend the Center to every family I know. We have truly loved our time here and I’m thankful to have found a great place to partner with me in the care of my young kids. I truly believe they have a stronger foundation because of Growing Kidz.

Both of my kids have attended this center, one has aged out and gone on to be very successful in a difficult school, and the other is still in the center. Nowhere is perfect but we have always felt listened to and respected. And we have always felt our kids were safe there. We have especially appreciated them trying to accommodate dietary restrictions. Both of my kids have had some excellent teachers, some of whom have been there for years, and others who were only there for a time. I would definitely recommend it to friends and have done exactly that.

What an incredible place this is! Our first child started early 2020 and our next in 2022. Our first child was there 12 weeks until completing the PreK program. Our second child is currently enrolled and we are so sad we only have another year left. The teachers are special and love all the kids incredibly well. They develop important skills and truly build confident leaders who can be successful moving forward. I have seen my very own shy child go from Growing Kidz into a large school and thrive because of the foundation Growing Kidz helped build. The leaders and staff of Growing Kidz make magic happen every day. They spend time on special events, create meaningful experiences for our kids each day, and go above and beyond. Wonderful place with wonderful people!

Our son attending Growing Kidz from September 24’ until April 25’. He started out in their Caterpillars classroom with phenomenal teachers but as he kept getting closer to transition to the two-year old classroom, Adventurers classroom we had growing anxiety. When we joined GK I joined their board and knew first hand the problems the center faces financially but most importantly in their Adventurers classroom. There was an incident at the end of 24’ where a student was left unattended and was injured significantly. Our son transitioned to the Adventurers room on April 14 and by April 18 we had already turned in 3 complaints to the Director, Mindy. The first day, the primary teacher snatched our son’s Easter basket (the children were celebrating Easter with an Easter egg hunt) out of his hands upon entering the classroom which of course resulted in a meltdown. We brought this to Ms. Mindy’s attention and let her know that the teacher needs training on redirecting. The following day upon pick up our son and the other children in his classroom were absolutely filthy. Their faces were full of dirt and dried boogers. We again made another complaint. At Wednesday’s drop off one of the parents who also transitioned to the new classroom alongside our son—-was visibly upset at drop off and didn’t appear to want to leave their child and during this time I witnessed three children standing on a table at the same time. Each day at pickup our child’s class could be found with their previous teachers because their teachers per other teachers statements would not pay attention to the children and would leave them unattended briefly at times. Thursday, the final day - my husband picked up our son and the teacher had put him in a dress. This incident led to a very heated verbal exchange between myself and the teacher at the front desk away from children, which rightfully so lead to the involuntary termination of our services over the weekend (which we had planned to pull our son the next business day which was Monday) and me resigning from the board. This center has so much potential but our family draws the line on the safety of children (not just ours) and teachers and educational centers pushing their personal opinions on gender identity and gender assignment into children. Without our permission the teacher should have never placed our son in a dress - this unacceptable. It was great while it lasted but I would not recommend this center.

My baby had been there since he was 3 months and we have been so happy. He stayed home sick today and I got a message on the app this afternoon from his teachers checking on him and saying they missed him 🥹 Highly recommend!
