I’ve had a really great experience with Faulkner University so far, and I wanted to share it. One of the standout things for me has been how responsive and personable everyone is. If I need anything at all, I can just pick up the phone, and they connect me right away to someone who actually knows my case and what I’m working on. It’s got this small-town feel in the best possible way. Everything I’ve needed has been handled quickly and smoothly, and it’s been a really nice experience so far. I’ll definitely update more as I go along, but for now, I just wanted to say how appreciative I am of their approach!
I’m very disappointed with the Graduation Department at Faulkner University. I am a dedicated student with only four classes left to earn my BA in Business Management, and I’ve worked extremely hard to get to this point. Unfortunately, I missed the graduation conferral deadline because I didn’t check my student email regularly. I understand that they sent 2–3 reminder emails with no phone calls, but as I explained, I am a full-time student, full-time business owner, active duty military member, and full-time family man. My schedule is beyond demanding, and I had hoped the university would show some understanding and flexibility given my circumstances. Not to mention, I just got back from my deployment in South Korea. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do to help me, which feels discouraging after years of commitment to this institution. I wish Faulkner’s Graduation Department would take a more student-centered approach and work with individuals who are genuinely trying to complete their degree but face unique time constraints. A little empathy and willingness to make an exception would go a long way in supporting hardworking students like myself.
On a college tour. Loved the total experience! Enjoyed meeting the staff and students who were all so welcoming. Enjoyed the chapel service. And appreciated the attention to detail that the counselors showed regarding the info shared. Would be proud to have my child attend.
I love the great friendly atmosphere. I enjoy most of my classes the teachers have made difficult material easier to understand. I love singing chapel. I'm in a growing band program that supports several on campus events such as Basketball games, Football games, Pep rallies, showcases and concerts. I love all of the friends I have met that come from different places all over the world. It is a great Christian University atmosphere and makes college an enjoyable experience.
My son attended the unsigned seniors combine for 25.00. I personally think this school is about getting money with activities like this. The coaches were very unprofessional, seemed more concerned with collecting money. It wasn't what we expected of a combine considering we have attended many in the past. The other children weren't as pleased neither. I would advise anyone who plan on attending to reconsider unless you want to just give money away. The whole combine was rushed and the children felt they wasted their time.
