A lesson of old to not become entranced by a synthetic needle in the toe, withstand the pricks that follow, not take what is offered, and learn how it was allowed to be there in the first place due to objects both in and out. It's sad because the priest is trying to get more money. Doesn't he think that people are also going through very difficult times economically and mentally with this immigration pressure? I no longer go to church for that reason. I hope they remove the priest and return Father Santiago.
I attended mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church one Sunday. I felt a strong Catholic faith and community at this church. I enjoyed the priest's surmon. Immaculate Conception is a beautiful church. When I was growing up my Mother always told my sister and brothers, when you attend mass at a new Catholic church. You receive three wishes, I'll have to see if they come true.
It's a great Catholic church in Columbia Heights. Parking lot will be redone after Summer Jam Fun Fest in August. We are getting a new priest that I met, he's young and I'm looking forward too see him at the altar.
Wonderful community. Diverse. Priest is a true joy, school truly strives to make a difference for kids, and parishioners make everyone feel welcome. I love being a part of this community.
