My son attended FELC for two years before starting kindergarten at a Catholic school. With the individualized attention Ms. Millis was able to provide, he was well prepared for Kindergarten, not only reading, writing, and his numbers, but also knowing the Bible. He went back for part of the summer and daily didn't want to leave when I picked him up.
Both of my sons attended FELC starting in 2020. My older son has returned for the last 2 summers since graduating from FELC. Ms. Millis has become an extension of our family over the last 3 1/2 years. She taught my boys so much regarding preschool and kindergarten curriculum and spiritually. Your child will be in great hands with Ms. Millis and will be beyond prepared for kindergarten upon graduation from her program.
"A good education is a foundation for a better future." This seems a vision statement of Faith Early Learning Center. My son attended this center for a year as a Pre- k student. He got built a good foundation for his future journey. During this time, he learned how to listen, read, write, and solve basic math questions, such as adding and subtracting. As a parent who speaks limited English, I did not teach my son how to speak fluently. Ms. Millis taught him. Besides, he learned bible stories and gospel songs. Social interaction is another important component of learning. As a child who grows up in such a diverse communities, the center gave him the skills he needed. My son will never forget your good work.
