My youngest daughter has been attending Excel 10 since she was 18 months old, and my older two children participated in the summer camp last year—and they’ll be going again this year! We’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences. Ms. Gail, who works at the front desk, is absolutely amazing—always warm, welcoming, and ready to help with any questions I have. My daughter just adores her. My kids had Ms. Maranda as their summer camp teacher and they loved every moment! She was fun, attentive, and made camp something they always looked forward to! 10/10 recommended Excel 10 to anyone looking for daily care or a summer camp!
It was a long road to get here. I have learned patience and understanding this past year. This facility has faced many challenges and obstacles and the employees have faced a lot of growing pains from all the changes. But at the end of the day, my child is so happy to show up that he literally pushes me out the door at drop off. There’s always a huge smile on his face when I pull up. And not just my child. All the children in his class and on the playground are having a blast and you can tell they love it here. The employees greet my son with excitement and they say goodbye to him every single day. That’s all I could ever want for my son. Is a facility that is going to treat him right! Nowhere and no one is perfect. As long as they provide a safe place for our children and treat our children right, that is what is most important. And that’s what I’ve seen to be consistent for a year now.
I had high hopes when enrolling my child here, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. It’s clear that this daycare lacks the experience needed to provide a safe, reliable, and nurturing environment for children. First, the staffing issues are alarming. Workers seem to call out constantly, leaving the daycare understaffed and my child shuffled around to accommodate the shortages. It feels chaotic, and I worry about the level of attention and care my child is receiving when staff is stretched so thin. I had to leave my job due to always having to pick up my child for being a "kid". Second, communication is a serious problem. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to follow up on basic questions or concerns. Updates about my child are sparse, and when I do hear something, it’s often last minute or unclear. As a parent, this lack of transparency makes me feel completely out of the loop. Lastly, the overall professionalism just isn’t there. There seems to be little accountability or effort to address these ongoing issues. Instead of solutions, I’ve only heard excuses. As much as I wanted this daycare to work for our family, I can’t recommend it to others. If you’re considering this place, please proceed with caution and do your homework.
Excel 10 has been such a great choice of daycare for my 20 month old! From the second I walked in to tour, everyone was friendly and the daycare was very clean. I’ve toured quite a few daycares and never felt welcome. As someone who was a stay at home mom for 7.5 years, it was bittersweet to put my third child into daycare but everyone’s friendly, welcoming demeanor was a weight lifted off my shoulders when I chose Excel 10. The security measures taken are a plus and the teachers and staff are great. I would definitely recommend this daycare facility!
Terrible experience! We would get turned away multiple times a week due to being short staffed, while still having to pay the full amount of daycare. This happened EVERY single week. It seems like they are enrolling more kids than they can take based on teacher to child ratio. It is a huge inconvenience because they don’t call to let parents know they are short staffed, they wait until you make it all the way there and then have to call out of work. Very unprofessional and so much lack of accountability and transparency.
