Here’s what you need to know: Last year with the new director, we came to pick up 2yo at nearly 4pm who was covered in poop and pee and when asked what happened the staff said they forgot to put a diaper on him before nap time (at 12). This was in the toddler room. Ont he next room up, little learners, Their potty training method is that you bring your child in underwear and let them pee themselves and “eventually they learn because they dislike it”. My child has delayed potty training due to this. Another boy known for violence took a large truck and smashed my child in the face to the point of needing stitches and no incident report was filed and no reprimand given to the other child. I followed up for over a month without any response provided and was ultimately in conflict with the new director over it and her continued bullying through leveraging her positions power, and left. My request to use other points of contact was refused by her. My request to mediate was refused by her. My request to talk with the board was refused by her. Suddenly my child had “behavioral problems” the week we left after notifying we were leaving. Retaliatory documentation by the new director. There were a handful of other injuries that I inquired about which they also did not respond to. They completed turned over staff start of summer and lost items non stop, gave kids foods on their allergy list and even expired oat milk causing upset stomachs only while at school. Toward the evening all the older kids are brought into the same play ground as the littles and are very physical with each other to the point of injury and crying without any response from supervising staff. The claims of ratio issues are correct. Especially with infants. The claims of the directors personality disorders are correct. The staff are fearful of her and she gets rid of whomever doesn’t comply, families included:
I cannot say enough positive things about Evergreen Christian Academy. All three of my girls have gone here…management changed a few years back and the program has become much more academic for the older kiddos since then. My middle child absolutely blossomed in Ms. Molly’s class (3 year olds). She found her love for art and books - it was awesome. She was so prepared for the next steps of her education journey. Our littlest started in the infant room. The women that care for the infants feel like family to me. They have helped us through some significant health challenges with our little one, always providing support and encouragement and their communication puts a mother’s mind at ease. All three of our kiddos have been extremely loved by Evergreen Acadamy. We love the team that works there, and we truly feel like we are part of a loving community.
I absolutely love ECA. My girls have been going here since April and I don't have a negative thing to say about it. People need to note that there is new management now with Lauren, and she is amazing! All of the teachers are so sweet, it's actually crazy. They all seem genuinely happy to be there and are so good with all our kiddos. They have huge hearts. Another thing I love is that one night a month you can pay a little extra for a parent's night out! We always take advantage of it when we can.
So happy to have switched from our old daycare to ECA! The Little Learners class is perfect for our son and Miss Mandy and Miss Jess have been so amazing! They really care about our little man and help a ton with his speech therapy, following all the help and guidance of our therapist, and paying extra attention to him. We could not be happier!
We had the best experience at Evergreen Academy over the past three years. Our son absolutely loved everything about school there. The teachers were loving and kind. They continued to instill the values we teach at home. He learned about Christianity in a way that makes sense to him. Miss Molly is exceptional and my son was so ready for kindergarten by the time he graduated. The past few years we saw great improvements to the systems, safety and curriculum made by Lauren to continue to create a positive place for everyone. I highly recommend checking it out.
