Ethical Society Nursery School is such a wonderful preschool. The play-based structure, small class sizes, nurturing environment, and close-knit community are exactly what our family was looking for in our search for quality preschools for our daughter. The teachers are knowledgeable and kind and the classrooms and outdoor spaces are welcoming and inviting. The school's emphasis and focus on social emotional learning through play and experiences is especially note-worthy. Ethical Society is a wonderful preschool that offers all of the best things that you would want from a school for your little. The teachers are amazing, the curriculum is play based learning and the building/grounds/rooms themselves are beautiful. We have sent both of our kids to ESNS and they have thrived. I cannot say enough good things about this preschool!
ESNS is a gem! When we moved to St. Louis 3 years ago, we were anxious to find a preschool that lived up to the experience we had with our previous preschool. We have been blown away by the challenging yet relaxed environment that the play based philosophy has provided. Our kiddo has grown exponentially, and we feel he is more than prepared for kindergarten. All of the teachers are incredibly nurturing and knowledgeable, and do a wonderful job of recapping each week's lessons and events so parents are well informed. The flexibility to do half or full days worked well for our child as he grew to need more autonomy and socialization. We are happy to be a part of such an open, embracing and tight-knit community, and can't wait to send our youngest next year!
We love the Ethical Society Nursery School! I have 2 children currently enrolled during the school year and we attend the summer camps as well. The teachers treat each child as an individual and are so welcoming. As parents we love the play based philosophy, options for extended days, & the amazing caring environment. My kids really enjoy when Ms. Becky & Ms. Mary come for Music & Science Days as well as playing in the outdoor classroom. We can't say enough positive things about our experience with ESNS!
My two sons are in their second year at Ethical Society Nursery School and we could not be happier with our experience. The play-based learning structure combined with talented, nurturing teachers has resulted in so many positive developmental strides in my children. They have made great friends and it's become our home away from home. With affordable tuition and an amazing community, this is seriously the best preschool in the Ladue / Clayton / U City area!
