I was searching for a daycare for my 6 week old son and I was told by Hannah Flood that this facility allows infants to sleep in swings and bouncy seats, which is a clear violation of the AAP safe sleep guidelines. Needless to say, I won’t be bringing my son there because child care isn’t worth risking his LIFE. I tried to report this facility, only to find out that they are license exempt with the state and they aren’t required to follow the same safety guidelines as a regular daycare—who knows what other safety guidelines they like to bypass? Do your research guys. Positional asphyxiation is silent and those daycare workers wouldn’t know anything was wrong with your baby until it’s too late. Swings and bouncy seats are not safe for sleep.
