English Creek Academy

Both of my girls have been going there for a long time. One is 3 the other is almost 11 months. I can not say enough great things about their teachers and staff there. I would recommend this child care center to anyone. I trust that my girls are safe and taken care of. We love it here !

English Creek Academy is awesome for infant child care. They have the best caregivers. After that, it seems the caregivers lack training and it's possible they don't have enough employees to properly staff those rooms. More than once, a child was lost or missing for more than 15 minutes. They will tell you they can and will accommodate children with special needs. Don't let them fool you because they do not. As soon as it becomes a little more work for the staff, they will complain. Then you will walk in one day and without warning, you will be told your child is no longer welcome there. This is something that happens more than I would have thought. Nothing will change because the owner supports this. There is no structure, teaching/learning or consistency at that level which is when they need it most. Very disappointed how drastically it changes after having such a great experience in the infant years.

This establishment gets an F for the poor communication & interaction with parents. If a parent has an issue or complaint about a situation that involves their child and attempts to address the issue with a teachers/front desk/director for further discussion, they are immediately targeted as aggressive or threatening and in some cases their children are dismissed immediately and police are called. The Staff are not appropriately trained on how to properly address issues presented by parents. Instead, when a parent is upset they are deemed as being aggressive or threatening and in some cases have police called on them for no reason other than the fact that they are trying to address a concern or issue with staff and their children then are immediately dismissed from this organization. The focus should be on proper communication with parents so issues are resolved properly and the children they are tasked with caring for are not unfairly penalized due to poor communication. Shame on this organization.

This place is sadly such a toxic environment to be in. The owner & director only care if families pay of out pocket to take their money because they treat them like customers. They let kids that are in danger stay, while making other kids who do not even compare to other kids get sent home early. The director and owner performs acts of defamation about employees, as well as kids or parents. The staff will stab each other in the back to go and cause drama and run to the director about everything, meanwhile they aren’t so innocent themselves. Staff talks negatively about the kids to each other and the owner and director are delusional and unaware of it. They also aren’t sympathetic towards staff or kids with special needs, they’re so quick to kick kids out with special needs. This place is a joke, do not recommend.

ECA is a 10/10. Teachers truly care for the kids. Toddlers receive excellent care and age appropriate curriculum for their growing minds.
