We had a wonderful experience with Empire Montessori, and we will always be grateful for the incredible care and support our son received there. From the very beginning, the teachers—especially Ms. Marnee and Ms. Julia—went above and beyond to help him adjust during those initial days. Their flexibility, patience, and attention to detail made all the difference in helping our child feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable in a new environment. He still fondly remembers his time at Empire Montessori and often recalls the memories he made there. The only reason we had to leave was because we moved to a different city. Otherwise, we would have loved for him to continue his early learning journey at this amazing school. I highly recommend Empire Montessori to any parent looking for a nurturing and thoughtfully run preschool.
Our daughter started attending Empire Montessori, San Jose in Dec 2024 as a 10-month old. The teachers in the infant room are affectionate, loving and care for our children like their own: Ms. Leiloni, Ms. Rodelyn, Ms. Kristine, Ms. Leah, Ms. Vilma, Ms. Monica, Ms. Ana have all been great! They keep us updated on our babies' activities through an app. Spearheaded by Ms. Marniee Swanson, Empire Montessori San Jose is in great hands with a nominal fee structure, and a culture that is open to feedback and flexibility which is especially needed in the infant room. Our daughter loves going to school - she's learned a lot of things in the past several months including but not limited to required skills and milestones for her age. We owe her language abilities to interactions in the school. Thank you Empire team!
Hello Team, We had to move to different county and away from Empire Montessori - "While my daughter is adjusting to her new school & County, she frequently talks about how much she misses Empire Montessori- San Jose. It's clear that her time there left a lasting impression. She especially misses her friends, and I hear Marin's name mentioned almost daily. What truly stands out, though, is how fondly she speaks of her teachers, Ms. Janet and Ms. Lori. They were, without a doubt, her absolute favorites. She recounts their playful interactions with such joy, telling stories of silly songs, fun games, and gentle guidance. It's heartwarming to see how much they nurtured her love of learning. It's evident that Empire Montessori created a truly special environment for her, one where she felt safe, happy, and intellectually stimulated. As a parent, I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact Ms. Janet and Ms. Lori had on her life. We miss Empire Montessori and the wonderful community it fostered." The school has excellent teachers / staff. The teachers provide excellent care as they always give a summary of how my son's day was during pickup. They're very mindful and attentive of the kids needs and very experienced. My son started in the infant room and they made sure to make his transition into the 2+ room smooth. If they're are any issues, they'll give me a call or leave a message on the app. They have a well though out curriculum. The classrooms are inviting and clean. Having shopped around, I find the tuition to be fair market price. Everything in San Jose is expensive, but I find this school to provide exceptional care and value.
We have sent our daughter here since she was three-months old and it has been a good fit! The daycare is clean, the communication is thorough and consistent, and the care of my daughter is great. The teachers and director are always available to chat and answer any questions I have when I drop off/pick up and throughout the day via the daycare app or phone call. As a parent, having that kind of support and reassurance was vital to me to help calm my nerves and ensure my baby is being well taken care of. Thank you Empire Montessori downtown!
