Emmaus Lutheran School

Probably one of the worst schools for children who are POC. There’s no humanization and a huge lack of empathy. They allow bullying, and the teachers are “completely naive” to it. Pastors should not be yelling at children for frivolous things. That does absolutely nothing for them. Teachers also like to humiliate students who aren’t doing the best, as if it helps them, but actually destroys any self-esteem that a student has left. There is no encouragement, understanding, or respect from anyone who teaches here. Probably one of the worst schools I have ever attended. I am still heavily affected by what happened to me here.

I love that my son is being guided to be centered on Christ while learning with a top rated preschool curriculum. Our son is excited about going to school everyday and has is lovingly cared for. All teachers have earned teaching degrees from 4-year colleges. This school offers great flexibility and scheduling. I love that he goes on really cool field trips, has an outdoor classroom, learns prayers and daily scripture verses, and even teaches them to his younger sibling. This school is the top-rated preschool in Allen County in my book. It offers more than any other preschool in terms of excellent curriculum plus real biblical teaching. It's the best educational value around.

My grandchildren go here, seems motivated to serve students. Programs are well rehersed, planned, correct seating. Parking is limited, might be a concern.

I have two children enrolled at Emmaus, we absolutely love the school. The teachers and amazing and we love the fact that it is a Christan education. I love the atmosphere and the fact that it feels like one big family!

I love this school. It helps me learn about god. There are really cool field trips like the eighth grade goes to Washington D.C. and Cincinnati.
