What Parents Say
Reviews are mixed with significant inconsistency in service quality. While many praise staff helpfulness and career advancement programs, others report serious communication failures and unprofessional conduct. The center appears to serve as a workforce development resource rather than a traditional daycare.
I am so disappointed I am trying to sign up for classes to further my education so that I can expand my career choices. I’ve been off work for three months signed up. It was supposed to only be a 28 day waiting period. I cannot get in touch with no one. No one wants to help or assist me. I’ve left messages at every extension when you call the number I push every extension and left a message and no one is returning my cause. This is ridiculous. People go to work nowadays and don’t want to work. They just wanna go to work and get a paycheck and not do the work not help nobody I don’t usually leave messages but this is very frustrating. One person to tell me to call this person or email this person but when I do, I’m yet to get any type of return phone call. And the tripped out think about it is that I live in Atlanta in Fulton County, but I have several coworkers that are off and they applied for Woia when I did it and their process is moving along progressively but here it is I can’t get no help in Fulton County
Serita Shackleford is the epitome of unprofessionalism. Make sure she emails you the paperwork so when she omits a form you have documentation of it. She will take other appointments in the middle of yours. Workers will tell you they will be back after 1 hour and come to check on you after over 2 hours.
It have been a horrific experience at WorkSource Atlanta to be denied training and treated unfairly and need to file a complaint for discrimination It’s no help there .The supervisor and advisor is no help I have not heard from no one to assist along the way..They really don’t want to help you with training or the funds not there. They want every excuse to deny you service so work source should not be funded .The CEO should step in or closed the doors instead of paying stafffs free checks.
I had an excellent experience with Jamaal and many other staff members here. Customer service is 10/10.
I just want to say thank you to the work force center and I want to give a special thank you to Kenya Williams she worked hard to get me my voucher so I could go back to school even thoe the funding came late which isn’t a reflection on the workforce team at all.. she was there to keep me updated the entire way and when the money came through she made sure I got my voucher right away thank you miss kenya and thank you to miss Kenya’s supervisor Sarita smith !! Kenya definitely deserves a raise because I see a lot of negative reviews but these people work hard to help the community and there under paid as well so think twice before you make a bad review because of your experience when it’s not even there fault all they do is work here.. thank you work force center and Kenya
