My family had a very positive experience at Elaine Rosi Academy. My son began attending when he was 3 years old and continued for 2.5 years. We always found the teachers to be very caring and compassionate. My son also enjoyed participating in a number of extra-curricular activities (i.e. gymnastics, soccer, and piano) while attending. I highly recommend Elaine Rosi Academy to friends and family.
It has many benefits, lots of different programs, however I don't think that it's a great school; they don't wash the children's hands before meals (meaning that they are eating dirt and germs as kids tend to eat with their hands), they don't teach good dental hygiene (as in there is no teeth brushing), they allow the kids to do whatever they want outside (the teachers stand around talking, which in turn leads to preventable injuries and sometimes bullying), the rooms are disgusting if you ever look closely (the teachers are on their phones, not cleaning unless state is coming by, and then it's only things that the state is looking at). For the money you pay to take your kid there, which by the way is horribly expensive, I honestly think that there should be more involvement, a cleaner facility and healthier habits taught to the children.
This school is horrible. I started my daughter and she was there only 3 weeks when they dropped her because she was still potty training. One teacher told me we had until August of that year (it was only February) to get her there but in 3 weeks they called me on a Thursday and said she couldn't come back the next Monday. I asked if we could have one week to find a new daycare since both parents work and they gave us a firm no. We were up a creek and had to find a daycare in 3 days. As I called other daycares, they all agreed what this daycare did was unacceptable. But bc daycares ate sometimes not reported, they get away with this behavior. My daughter is safely in short school but I never want another kid or parent to suffer the way we did-unjustly.
My office window overlooks their playground. For years I’ve been impressed with the care and attention they give their little ones. I’d feel comfortable sending my children here one day if the needs arises. From what I can see, they do a great job caring for the kiddos!
This place is great. Our son has a long list of food allergies, and they accommodate him perfectly.
