El Segundo Preschool

Both my daughters, now 3 & 5, started at this preschool at 2 years old. I absolutely love this school and all the teachers. There is a great balance of playtime and structured learning. The school provides daily snacks, plus lunch 3 days a week (parents pack lunch on the other 2 days). It truly feels like a home away from home. Another great perk is minimal holiday days off (i.e. no spring break or winter break) and the summer time is filled with all sorts of dress-up days and splash/water days and other themed activities. Not to mention the adorable singing performances during the holidays and graduation time. Kids nap or have quiet time daily. Your children will graduate from the school with a well-rounded education and will be ready for TK or Kinder!

We really love our experience at El Segundo Preschool! As our son prepares to start TK next week, we want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at El Segundo Preschool. Here is why we love the school: 1. Caring Teachers: Ms. Patty, our son's current teacher, has been a real treasure. Her ability to connect with the children is remarkable. With her warm smile and encouraging words, she creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes our son excited to learn and explore every day. Although he is in Ms. Patty’s class, all the teachers work together as a cohesive team, showing incredible support and care for every child. We are thankful for Ms. Saida, Ms. Mayra, Ms. Nyla, Ms. Jessica, Ms. Patricia, and Ms. Sylvia, who each contribute to a nurturing and fun environment. Additionally, we would like to thank to Ms Ashlyn, Ms Kyra and Ms Fernanda who are no longer in school but were important part of our son's preschool journey. 2. Amazing Potty-Training Experience: Our son's experience with potty training was made so easy thanks to Ms. Kyra’s gentle encouragement and patience. Within a week, he was confidently trained, and we couldn't have asked for a smoother transition. 3. Open Communication: The teachers have always made it easy for us to stay connected. We appreciate their open lines of communication, making it simple to discuss any questions or concerns we might have. 4.Delicious Meals: Ms. Sylvia’s cooking is a favorite around the classroom! Our son brags about how Ms Sylvia cooks so good. 5. Engaging Activities: Each day is an adventure filled with fun activities—from splash days and bounce houses to visits from local heroes, costume days, hatching butterflies, and growing plants. The playground, complete with a sand area, is an absolute joy. Our son loves to dig and play there and watching him make happy memories with his friends brings us so much joy. 6. Convenient Hours: The hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM fit perfectly with our busy family life, allowing us to balance work and family time with ease. We highly recommend El Segundo Preschool to all families seeking nurturing and engaging environment for their children. We are incredibly grateful for the support and care we’ve received, and we will always cherish the memories made during our time here.

The managers here do not care about your child. They care about your money. They also don’t tell you if your child has been choking on a toy. Your child has to tell you before they tell you. If you’re hesitating on taking your child here, let this be that sign saying “I told you so”.
