My son started at Beach Babies in August, 2021, when he was four years old. Prior to starting we had kept him home with his sister throughout the pandemic, and while we were grateful to spend so much time together, and to keep him safe, it was evident that he was in need of academic and social exposure. From the moment we walked in Beach Babies was one of the most welcoming, loving, and enriching places I've ever been able to experience. Between my two children we have utilized several day cares and preschools and Beach Babies absolutely blows all the others out of the water. My son learned so much in such a short amount of time, not only being introduced to introductory spelling, reading, math and science, but more importantly learning to be curious, and learning to love the process of learning. I know he will walk into Kindergarten with the confidence needed to be successful in his learning, and also to be a good classroom citizen. The staff at Beach Babies is absolutely incredible, from the thoughtful, knowledgeable and friendly administrative staff to the truly heroic teachers. They not only cared for our son, but for our whole family, and the community as we transitioned out of our pandemic isolation. Our son developed an incredible bond with all of his teachers, and they clearly love and care for he and his development as much as I do. Our final day with his Teachers was spent at Disneyland (a special treat for all the graduates) and when we said goodbye after the final fireworks show we all had tears streaming down our faces with the bittersweet reality of this incredible chapter coming to an end. Beach Babies also bravely commits themselves to being on the right side of topics that are unfortunately controversial, such as maintaining strict, science based COVID protocols, and providing a welcoming and safe space for families of all types, colors, and backgrounds. I wholeheartedly recommend Beach Babies to any family looking for a caring, organized, well run, loving, welcoming, and academic program for their children, and a holistic community for the whole family. Thank you Beach Babies for giving my son his best year yet, and for taking us all under your wing. We are forever grateful and can't wait to come back to visit!
We can't say enough about Beach Babies. Management team down to in-class staff, all are excellent caregivers and we witnessed this each and every day. We heard some horror stories of other daycares from friends around COVID related matters but Beach Babies were always transparent and prioritized kid's health above all. We recommend Beach Babies to any prospective parents looking to enroll their little one in day care in southern California.
My granddaughters have been here for over 3 years. I live out of state but frequently visit and observe child/ teacher interactions. I can tell you that each person I have ever met here is loving, gracious, and interested in the children! My little ones look forward to going to school each day and are still happy when picked up in the evening. I think the way the children respond to all of the adults at Beach Babies speaks volumes. They are happy, healthy, and well adjusted. They have many little friends and my daughter and son in law have made some lasting friendships with other parents and the teachers/administrators. This is a Very well run and clean facility. Do not hesitate to place your children in their care. I love Beach Babies and highly recommend them.
Beach Babies is full of thoughtful, kind teachers who focus on education and caring for the children who attend. The facility is clean, well kept, and spacious, with good playground space for the children. Curriculum is challenging in a good way, with multiple levels of classes to help your child as they develop. They host plenty of fun events for both the parents and children, including mother and fathers day activities, summer outings and more.
