El Presidio Day School

El Presidio Preschool has been an incredible blessing for our family. Both of my children started there when they were just 1 and 3 years old, and they continue to thrive in its nurturing and loving environment. As a mother who spent time away in Boston for school, it brought me immense peace of mind to know my children were in such caring hands. I often watched them through the school’s cameras and would call to check in — and each time, the school director, Ms. Mabel, went above and beyond. She is exceptionally kind, attentive to every detail, and always provided accurate, thoughtful updates. She would personally walk to my children’s classrooms to give me the most current information about how they were doing. Their teachers — Ms. Yummy, Ms. Didi, and Ms. Gina — are extraordinary. They treat every child with patience, warmth, and genuine affection. Ms. Gina even incorporates Spanish into her daily interactions, allowing the children to pick up a second language naturally. My youngest became so lovingly attached to Ms. Yummy, which gave me great comfort while I was away. The school environment is always clean, safe, and full of joy. The staff continuously communicate with me about my children’s well-being and even offered guidance on kindergarten options for my oldest. El Presidio has supported not only my children’s growth but mine as a mother. Though we have since moved farther away, we still choose to drive our children to El Presidio every day — because there is simply no other place we feel more confident or secure leaving them. I give this school my highest recommendation. The love, dedication, and professionalism of the entire team make El Presidio Preschool truly exceptional. It is a place where children are not only cared for but deeply cherished.

El presidio has became a second home to my son. He loves going to school everyday and enjoys the friends he’s made along the way. Very friendly staff and clean environment. Thank you for always going above and beyond for the kids. Recommend 100%

Grandkids go here and are always sick. If you walk in all the kids have boogers dripping from their noses. Staff could care less. Would not recommend. Pulling grandkids out ASAP.

My three kids have been here since august and they enjoy this school to where they ask me if they can go to school on the weekends lol. They have the best care and are really attentive to the children they are on top of every thing i really appreciate them!

My 1 year old son a attended this daycare for about 8 months or so. This daycare for the majority of my experience and opinion was good. Communication with staff was easy and simple, they were helpful and staff was kind and welcoming to us, from the start and consistently throughout. Hours of business were general, if you happened to be running late they understood, I never had an issue. They had a app that I enjoyed utilizing everyday. Cameras in every classroom, with the freedom to check in on children anytime of day. The ratio of children to each teacher was always a priority. I do wish there was more clarity on the learning and curriculum, if any. I did receive paintings, and cute arts & crafts that was made by my son. Staff was very serious about physical assaults and bullying between children. I never had to wonder or ask staff about why my son was marked up, had a fall, accident, bruised, bit or scratched. Staff communicated long before I picked my son up and before the end of the day. I was always made aware of changes, days daycare would be closed, holiday schedules, medical viruses (time of outbreak) etc. weeks in advance. My son did very well while he attended, I honestly don't have any complaints. I would recommend to parents. We stopped attending here because of personal reasons. If this facility was still an option for us, I would have my son continue attending. That's our families experience with El Presidio Daycare. I'm sure I didn't get to mention other pros to this daycare but thanks for taking the time to read my review.
