My son has attended Eight Acres Camp for 2 years now. He absolutely loves it. Kids spend most of the day outside, getting dirty, with no screens in sight. Miss J and her staff are the best!
If I could give more stars, I would. This is truly the most wholesome and impactful camp we’ve ever found. My son has attended many summer camps over the years, but this is the only one he’s genuinely excited to go to every single day. Knowing he’s having such a great time allows me to focus on work without guilt—it’s been the biggest blessing for us this summer. I only wish we had discovered this camp sooner, but we’re here now—and he’ll be coming back every summer from here on out. After his very first day, he told me, “Mom, my heart for adventure is growing, and my heart for electronics is starting to shrink.” That’s exactly what this camp does—it inspires, encourages, and cultivates real joy. I also love the positive environment, the presence of Christian music, and the values they naturally weave into everything they do. Just an all-around incredible experience.
I have struggled finding the perfect place for my daughter and now I honestly feel like we have found it. My daughter is full of energy and this place is wonderful for her. It is mostly all out doors and what some kids lack and need now days. She comes home muddy, dirty, sweaty, wet and wore out. We love it!! The staff are all friendly and do their best to make sure the kids have all kinds of extra activities. Thank you Eight Acres / and Staff for all you do for these kiddos.
My 7 year old raves about the fun he has at camp Eight Acres. Mrs. Jefferson is so sweet and welcoming. My son was so nervous his first day and totally worn out when I picked him up. Great camp/daycare experience for us. We will be lifers for sure.
This is the kind of camp I would have wanted to attend when I was younger. My daughter absolutely loves this place! On top of having several activities at the camp, they also take them on field trips throughout the weeks. Staff is super friendly and attentive.
