Our foster son has been going here for the last year and a half and he absolutely loves it! I can't say enough about how great the staff is with him. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for childcare in the area.
Had a horrible experience with the Bixby location. Picked up my 5 month old baby with a long scratch under his eye and a swollen cheek. This incident had apparently happened an hour earlier and i never received a call and they acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Told me an older kid scratched his face while he was in a crib. It looks like a lot more happened than that. When my boyfriend went back in to get my daughters things he heard teachers yelling at older kids to stop throwing toys because there were babies in the room. There was also a 7 hour gap on his daily report with feeding and nothing was ever said. When i went to pick up my sons things today all the teacher could say was “oh” when i said my kids were not coming back and when told it looked like my he didn’t eat for 7 hours yesterday. I pulled both my kids from there immediately. I never received an apology or explanation. Just got an “oh”. I understand accidents happen but the way it was handled was unacceptable. Edit: I also just found an “ouch report” from the day before this incident that was never given to me nor was i told about stuffed in his diaper bag about a mark on his nose i had questioned when i picked him up. They lied to my face and never even told me they wrote a report for it I was in the daycare the day after to pickup my sons things and to pull them from there and no one tried to rectify or talk to me about the situation nor was there any mention about any investigation or camera footage.
The older reviews for this center were from the center previously located here, Midwest/Gingerbread House. Amara Learning didn't open until 7/2017, and my kids started there in 8/2017. We have nothing but great things to say about this center. The owner is very nice, and my kids all love her. The teachers are great with my kids, and I know they are well taken care of here. Reviews from 1/2017 and older are all from the previous daycare located at this address, and this owner has no affiliation with the previous daycare, so don't let it deter you. Check them out!
My daughter has been going here for about 7 months and all the staff including the director is doing an awesome job!! My daughter can be a handful at times but the teachers are so patient and great with the kids. I love this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone to bring their kids they would be well taken care of.
I highly recommend this child care facility. The staff goes over and above on working with the children. My great grandson goes there and after some early problems and fears he is slowly getting used to being in childcare. After a bad experience in another child care facility it makes you appreciate the care they get there.
