Both my grandkids were seriously abused at this daycare a few years back. Layton city police got involved and charges were pressed and conviction of the teacher. HOWVER for 2 years after they went after my daughter for a bill from pulling the kids out of the school as soon as she was notified the kids were abused. They turned it over to collections as well. We had to call numerous times to have the bill pulled out of collections and had to talk to an attorney before they pulled the bill. They said they had no records of the kids being abused in the daycare until we gave them specific dates and asked how the kids didn’t have a record of being there yet they had a bill sent to collections . We gave them a police report number and had to threaten to have attorneys get involved and then they had the bill removed. My daughter attended this daycare years prior when they first opened and the owners were amazing with her. The new owners are horrible. I’d highly discourage sending your kids here they just don’t take accountability until you leave no other choice.. aka proof. They also had camera footage of the abuse.. they didn’t review cameras until another child was seriously abused as well and got police involved. If you have cameras review them! That is how you know how your teachers are treating the kids. Don’t just wait for another abuse to happen before you check in on the kids. Common!
Edu-Care has been an incredible place for our son over the past 3 years! He was genuinely excited to go to "school" every day and spend time learning with his teachers. We will miss seeing the staff every day as our son starts Kindergarten. I can't recommend them enough!
If your child is a perfect child then this place would work for you, but if your child faces any challenges then these "teachers" are not equipped to watch your child. I have had over 30 years dealing with daycare and have to say this was the worst experience yet. I have used daycare for all kinds of children...overachievers, quiet kids, and ones that need a little more positive communication. They make children believe that any bad behavior gets awarded with going home, so what do you think a child will continue to do? You got it! Don't plan on ever being able to get a full day of work in. Need more educated teachers to deal with conflicts when necessary
This is the first daycare we have used that we don’t have some type of sickness every week! Everyone working here is so sweet and loving. My kiddo always comes home with a smile and says it was a good day.
My son is 4 and was pushed and hit by another student to the point he was worried to go every day if that student was there, I notified the teacher and the director on separate occasions and they both stated “we are working on it” which acknowledges they were aware this situation was happening and not doing anything about it in the meantime my son had to deal with being a victim. I quickly pulled him from the school and they still charged me even though the reason I pulled him out was for his safety. Do not recommend
