We are thrilled with our experience at Early Explorers Preschool. After attending several other high-quality daycares and preschools, we can confidently say that Early Explorers stands out. The care, support, and early childhood education our daughter receives here has been truly exceptional. The staff are incredibly communicative, nurturing, and flexible, always keeping us updated and involved. What really sets this preschool apart is the warm, family-like atmosphere and strong sense of community they’ve created. Early Explorers Preschool is a hidden gem in early learning, and we highly recommend it to any parents looking for a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for their child.

If I could give Early Explorers 20 stars, that wouldn't even do this amazing program justice. Both of my children have had the luxury of attending Early Explorers Preschool from the age of 2 until they were heading off to kindergarten. From the moment you meet the staff, there is a sense of relief knowing your children are going to be taken care of, not only on an academic level, but social and emotional. Gary and his staff are experienced, nurturing, and warm. They truly know their students (and their families) and really care. Aside from knowing my children received the best care possible, their experience with teaching this age group is second to none. Both of my children were more than prepared for kindergarten and left early explorers with confidence and life skills. Early Explorers is a hidden gem in the Montclair Area and any family that joins their family would be lucky. It is a special place where children thrive on so many levels and I cannot recommend it enough.

With my son graduating this year, I feel inclined to share how wonderful it is. We discovered Early Explorers two years ago and feel like we found a hidden gem. The moment that we met the owner, Gary, we knew it was the right spot. Gary has a level of kindness and warmth that we hadn't come across when touring other pre-schools. His love and genuine care for the kids and their families, is incredible. The teachers are all well seasoned individuals that have been doing this for many years. Early Explorers isn't anything fancy, but it feels like a home away from home which was the perfect fit for our family.

We couldn’t be happier with our twins’ experience at this wonderful preschool. From the very beginning, it was clear that the program strikes a perfect balance between academic learning and play-based exploration. Our children have grown so much—not just in early literacy and math skills, but also in confidence, communication, and empathy. The small class sizes and warm, nurturing environment made it feel like an extended family. The staff goes above and beyond to create a space where kids are encouraged to be curious, kind, and themselves. It’s rare to find a place that so beautifully blends structure and creativity, learning and fun, all while building strong social and emotional foundations. We are so grateful for the loving care our twins received and highly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a supportive and enriching start to their child’s education.

As a parent of three we’ve been around the preschool block. We moved to the area in a whirlwind (that’s how we roll), and count ourselves so incredibly lucky to have found Early Explorers for preschool for our youngest. As soon as we walked in for a visit and were greeted by Mr. Gary, I knew it was the exact right place for our family- so comfortable, so caring. The cozy family feelings are like a warm hug and deeply genuine from the teachers. It’s been great to watch this cohort of kids learn and grow together, seeing older siblings go off to kindergarten and younger siblings enter the mix. Our youngest has been there for two years, and while we’re sad a lot of her friends are going on to kindergarten, I’m so glad we have one more year at Early Explorers! ❤️
