I was fortunate enough to briefly visit Durango Nature Studies' reserve over the summer. It's a fascinating place that gets kids away from their video games and gives them a hands-on approach to discovering nature. The dedicated staff are a tremendous asset. I only wish I had access to a place like this when I was growing up.
