I’ve been going to this gym for years now and it’s a great spot to go with friends. The front desk receptionist Sheridan I’ve noticed has just been straight up rude and disrespectful multiple times to my friends and people who have simple questions. The way she goes about things with her tone and her sense of anger just makes me feel like I’m going to get absolutely yelled at if I even look at her because she’s also stared me and my friends, and severallll other teens down before when we’re just walking past or something. It definitely feels like she has something against teenagers going to the rec and she’s been rude to me, my friends, and several other customers in the past. Definitely hasn’t made my recent experiences great when I’m just there to lift. Besides rude employees the rec center is definitely one of my favorite spots in town.
Swimming area still sucks. The lap pool caters to 8 people but for the rest of us it's still too cold to medically be safe to use.
They aquatic center just got new play equipment for the kids, it’s great! We always love coming here. The water is nice and warm, there is a lazy river, and the water slide is really fun! The hot tub is huge and feels great. They have life jackets for kids that might need them, which I loved when my boys were a little younger (5&7 now), such a great place to go during the winter. They have family changing rooms with showers which is great when you have children.
The fitness classes are amazing. I really enjoyed the variety and the level. The daily pass is $7.5 and you will find there everything you need to work out: swimming pool , climbing wall, cardio, weight,... this kind of recreational center should be in every town.
We love this place for year-round family fun. They have updated the pool features, and the kids love it. Plus, the slide and the diving boards are always a favorite.
