My daughter went to Duck Pond since she was 6 months old & just graduated their Pre-K program. Throughout our time there, she was incredibly cared for, supported & encouraged. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of staff for her. Amy & Jen have always been extremely responsive, which I have appreciated. My daughter started Kindergarten this week & she is so prepared because of the experiences she has had at Duck Pond & all the things she has been taught (name writing, letter & number recognition, social skills & more). She started as a very shy & timid child, but walked into Kindergarten with such confidence. Super thankful for Duck Pond! 🩷
My 4-year-old daughter has been going to Duck Pond since she was three months old and has loved every single second spent there. The teaching staff in every room is amazing and show their love and investment in your kid as if they were their own. Amy, the director, is so lovely and accommodating and has been so responsive to any inquiry since my very first contact with her. It’s stressful being a working mom and knowing that my kid looks forward to going to “school” and seeing her friends and teachers every day helps so much and not just that, but also seeing her grow and thrive in such a positive and encouraging environment- I could not ask for more. I highly recommend Duck Pond!
The staff at Duck Pond were wonderful for my two children. My kids loved going to daycare everyday. They both learned so much academically and socially. My kids started in the infant room and moved up through the preschool room and every teacher/helper was so kind and gave such great attention to each child. In addition, Amy was always so flexible with scheduling. It made life much easier because I could always depend on Duck Pond to help me with arrangements.
When I think of a child care facility, two types of places cross through my mind. A place or building that you drop your child off so you can go to work and then there is a place that feels like an extension of your home and your child is being cared for by what feels like friends and family. For my family, Duck Pond Learning Center has been such a wonderful place that has been an extension of our home. From Amy whom runs the center to all of the amazing teachers that have shown so much love and care for my son. Words truly cannot describe the thoughtfulness, peace of mind, and family-like connections that were built throughout my son’s time at Duck Pond. I will always have friends at Duck Pond and hope to keep my connection going even though my son started his next big adventure. I highly recommend Duck Pond Learning Center, Amy, and all the workers/teachers to any family looking for a place to take their children that is more than just a place to drop them off, but an extension of your family and home!
Our son started at the Duck Pond Learning Center as a six month old baby while on a wait list for another daycare. We are so happy we ended up at Duck Pond. The teacher to child ratio is small enough to allow enough individual attention for the kids, and the teachers are incredibly nurturing and very experienced at approaching each child in the best way to fit their unique personality and learning style. We have grown very fond of Duck Pond and enjoy watching our now two year old toddler develop and thrive in the care of the dedicated and friendly team of teachers. The center is divided into five rooms by age with a semi-open floor plan that allows the children to interact with younger and older age groups during play time. We love this set up as it allows our boy to naturally flow into socializing with kids of different ages, and has allowed him to explore different toys and activities. The teachers are great at balancing play time with structured activities, and we definitely see results of that at home in how our boy is progressing in his skills. We are also grateful for how accommodating and understanding the owner, Amy, and all the ladies are. Whether it’s being mindful of our baby’s dietary needs, our own parental preferences, or adjusting to my and my husband’s schedule changes, we always feel heard and respected. This is a very caring and nurturing environment that allows the kids to not only learn but create friendships.
