DTA is an amazing place, all The teachers up there actually care about the kids and love what they do. My son loves all the teachers up there as do I. They take the time out to actually teach the kids what they need to be taught and do lots of fun things with the other kids! My son will continue to go there for after school care. I could not imagine putting him anywhere else! I personally have grown a bound with the girls up there that they feel like family and I can trust them completely!

My son has been apart of the DTA family since the day he turn 2 years old I have never had a problem with this daycare. Heather, Paige, Ashley, Myra, and Joann has all treat my kid like family. The love they have showed to my son including tough love has been greatly appreciated. I would recommend this daycare to anyone!

This place is a joke!!!. They have 2 year olds mixed with one year olds, 2year olds mixed with 3 and 4 year olds, 5+ all mixed together, and not mention the special needs children who don’t get the proper care they need. I wouldn’t recommend this daycare to anyone to send your child or to work. I worked here and couldn’t even speak to the owner(Heather) regarding any issues she just comes to pick up her money every week . They do not follow the ratio for kids per teacher. I have photos of overly packed classrooms with only myself in attendance. They are notified when DCF is coming so that’s about the only time rules are followed. They will send teachers home to save money because that is all they care about. Kids are constantly left unattended when they could just have people on the clock. Yell at a child for running out of a room that a adult wasn’t even in it’s ridiculous!! The director Chrissy is a teacher that didn’t want to be a director so she chooses to let the place be complete chaos instead. There’s plenty of empty rooms and space all they have to do is put people on the clock and hire a director with experience. The teachers are great but there’s only so much they can do when the owner(heather) and the director (chrissy) insists on doing things their way (wrong). I’ve made multiple complaints and hopefully something will be done about it! I’ve spoken to someone at the other location sunshine academy owned by the same owner and apparently it’s just as bad. I’m just glad I had a positive impact on the kids while I was there :(

If you value your child's educational needs and safety do not send them to this crooked business. Education is not a high priority. Safety is of very low concern - Teachers are too busy talking amongst themselves to care about the children. Incident reports are never filled out due to "I did not witness that" or "No your child is lying". Children run around that place like they own it and it typically smells right when you walk in because the bathrooms are right there with the doors always wide open and no teacher supervision when children are using them/playing in them. Never once did my son come home and tell me about something he learned, only that he or another child got hurt that day. I pulled him out after no regard was given after he was hurt multiple times by the same child/children. Never asked if he had any marks or if he was okay. No incident report was filed because the teacher denied knowing what happened even after my son repeatedly told me he told her exactly what happened. The week after I switched schools he came home telling me the days of the week in Spanish and whole story book synopsis. Don't waste your time, your money, or the states money.

My daughter went here for 2 years and at first it was great. They changed hands recently staff wise and it’s been down hill since. My daughter was coming home with lice almost everyday and they kept indicating it was coming from my home and had nothing to do to do with them. You would think if it came from our house me and my other kids would have it as well and we didn’t. I would pull full grown bugs out of her hair daily after school! Since we have moved, guess what’s disappeared, the lice!! Not to mention it smelled like baby pee every morning dropping her off. They need more staff to help take care of the children. Possibly address the issues at hand instead of dismissing them.
