Candy Cane Kids

I am not sure who drives for this company, but they are frustrating. This van cuts ppl off, blocks clearly marked fire station's driveway and almost plowed over walking kids.

My niece went to this daycare, for all of 3 full days. She is only 3 months old and they were able to feed her a total of 0 bottles. She does not have this problem with anyone else. In fact, her new daycare was able to feed her upon arrival! The staff seemed completely unconcerned that she did not eat for three days. They smiled when they had reserved all her food for her. Neglect is the only word for how she was treated. If you want your baby/child to eat, I highly advise finding another daycare. The teachers will not talk with you. They send someone to speak for her regarding any questions that you have. But of course, that representative is not actually aware of anything happening.

I spent a good part of the day locating a daycare. Everything with a 4.3 star and higher was full. My wife and I called 18 places. I called Candy Cane Kids and they had an opening. I get there and there is duck tape on the door and paint peeling off the wall. I step into the entry way and the smell of mold took my asthmatic self back. I quickly turned around and loaded my son back in my car. The playground equipment is all metal. I don’t mind because I grew up with that sort of thing. The only thing is that the slide is rusted sheet metal and the other things out there were torn up and all rusted. Make sure your kid has a Tetanus shot. Leaving a child in that environment should be a form of negligence. It is that bad looking and smelling.

My son LOVES THIS DAYCARE! Friendly staff and very accommodating. Mrs. Melson and Katrice are the best

Kids have been hurt at this facility. I personally would not recommend this facility to anyone that wants to keep their kids safe. The staff does not appear organized.
