Doodle Bugs! Children'S Centers

Pros: A few teachers here are truly wonderful and provide excellent care. Our child had some positive experiences thanks to those individuals, and the curriculum materials look impressive on paper. Cons: Consistency and accountability are major problems. Children are frequently shuffled between classrooms—often without notifying parents or updating the camera access that families pay extra for. These changes disregard children’s eating, nap, and emotional needs. The quality of care your child receives depends entirely on which classroom they land in, and unfortunately, caring and attentive teachers are few and far between. You really have to hope your child gets lucky. The administration often claims they have “little to no autonomy” because decisions come from upper management. Yet they are the ones seeing your children every day, and parents rely on them to advocate for what’s best in the classroom. Instead, communication is poor, staff turnover is high, and favoritism seems to drive decisions more than the actual needs of the kids. Doodle Bugs! promotes the motto of “happy children, happy parents, happy teachers”—but in practice, it feels hollow. Until there is stronger leadership, transparency, and oversight, I would not recommend this center to any parent looking for stable, individualized care

We absolutely love it here! We switched our daughter here after a bad experience somewhere else and it has been great. Having access to cameras to be able to see her throughout the day really takes a huge weight off our shoulders. They keep the kids busy and engaged with activities, sensory play and my daughter loves the buggy rides they take the infants for walks in. The whole staff is super friendly, we felt welcome from the minute we walked in for our tour. Stephanie is great! She answered every question we had, made us feel really comfortable and even now if I have a question she emails back in a timely manner. The location is clean, bright and cheerful! The building is secure with a personal passcode to access the building and a button has to be pushed to open the door from the inside so there is no chance a child will get out. I love that they send pictures throughout the day and a summary of your child’s day as soon as you check your child out. All in all we are very happy here and couldn’t imagine taking our daughter to any other daycare since we found Doodlebugs!

Doodlebugs has been so helpful caring for my daughter while her parents both work. She has learned and grown so much while being with them. The social interaction has changed her world for the better. We thank Doodlebugs for what they do and how they do it.

I can't say enough about Doodle Bugs and the amazing care they provide for my son. They are loving, nurturing, and truly dedicated to teaching him everything he needs to learn at his age. Every morning, he is so excited to see the staff, which makes it so much easier for me to leave him, knowing he's in good hands. I couldn't ask for a better place for my child. When I drop him off, he's happy, and when I pick him up, he's still smiling. Not only is he learning important social skills, but he's also discovering how to play, share, and grow in a safe, supportive environment. I also love the daily updates with pictures and notes about what he's doing throughout the day. Plus, they even offer the option of a video camera if you'd like the extra peace of mind. I am beyond grateful for Doodle Bugs and the incredible difference they are making in my son's life.

All the staff member at west Amherst been greatful my daughter loves them all , they love kids and treats them very well and so helpful. She learns something new everyday . Management is great . Thank you for taking care of my daughter . 🙏
