Doodle Bugs! Children'S Center

Excellent staff! My daughter loves her teachers. We started in September and have had a positive experience. The teachers show compassion and love towards my daughter and all of the other children. There are times when she wants to stay and play when I am there for pickup. She tells me all about the teachers and calls them her friends. If my daughter is excited to go everyday, then I know she is safe and loved, and that makes me a happy mom.

We absolutely love Doodle Bugs in Penfield. The staff is so kind and they always make our daughter feel safe and happy. She looks forward to going every day and has really fallen in love with painting. She’s also made so many little friends which has been amazing to watch. We adore her teacher, Miss Robyn. She has been such a steady, warm presence and our daughter lights up when she sees her. And we have to mention Miss Kara too because she’s become a favorite in our family. She’s always so sweet and makes our daughter feel extra special on her best days. We’re really grateful for everyone here!

As a first time mom, Doodlebugs has been an amazing facility so far! The staff is always so warm & welcoming and always greets our son by name. When they say they are going to do something, they always follow through. The communication has been stellar, his teachers always ask how my son is doing to better care for him that day. I appreciate the photos they capture of him having fun in his classroom! The building is always so clean and I appreciate the security measures in place to keep our son safe. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for (and what daycare isn’t expensive these days). Overall, we are very pleased with Doodlebugs!

Review is overdue. Relocated back home from Tampa and were told we had a spot reserved for our infant. We sent friends for a tour and were told we would be sent forms to finalize things. We told them we didn't want our child photographed for their social media and that's when they stopped responding. Followed up three times in two weeks and was finally told they filled the spot with another child. Moving is hard enough, then having child care locked in only to be baited and switched is bad practice.

I was initially hesitant to enroll my toddler here due to some concerns I’d heard about from last year. However, after our previous daycare started declining—my daughter was frequently coming home soiled, was bitten several times, and it just felt like she was an afterthought—we decided to explore other options. When I saw the sign saying they were accepting new enrollments, we scheduled a tour and had a detailed conversation with the director about our concerns. She reassured us that, under new management and with a focus on hiring caring, genuine teachers, the daycare had completely turned things around. We decided to take a chance, and I’m so glad we did. Our daughter loves going to school now, and she’s even sleeping better. The teachers genuinely care and make an effort to share details about her day, from the new things she’s learning to the cute, funny moments that happen. They truly know her, which is incredibly comforting as a parent. I’ve cried happy tears more than once, expressing my gratitude to the director and front desk staff for the care and attention our daughter receives. It’s such a relief to have her in a daycare that genuinely prioritizes her well-being. The facility itself is fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with a great indoor play area, which is perfect for the winter months. Even with all the little ones around, it always smells fresh! The staff are friendly, warm, and always happy to chat. I also love the live-stream cameras, which give me peace of mind as I can see firsthand how much fun my daughter is having throughout the day.
