Discovery Tree Academy

I always wanted/planned on being a stay-at-home mom, but when I had to got back to work because my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer I had to put my 2 year old in day care. I had a long list of requirements that I needed to feel ok with entrusting a facility with my baby and Discovery Tree fulfilled them all! We have been with them for a little over 7 months now and I am still very happy with them! I love the daily updates I get about my child’s day that includes pictures! I love their structured play schedule that includes outside time, crafts and free play. I love my son’s teacher Phoebe, she is so caring, loving, and fun. I love Chelsea, the location’s manager, she is always so friendly and helpful whenever I have any questions or need something. I have worked in day cares in my earlier life and Discovery seems like one of those rare centers where all the women like their job and love and support one another and the kids! The positive environment they have created at Discovery helps me everyday to push on with the massive life changes going on in my family because I know my child is safe, loved, and well cared for when he is not with me! Thanks guys!

I am extremely disappointed in this daycare. They failed to pick up my child from school as scheduled and then blamed her for the incident. It is completely unacceptable for a childcare provider to shift responsibility onto a young child instead of ensuring proper procedures are followed. My child’s safety was put at risk, and their response showed a lack of accountability and professionalism. Parents trust daycares with their children’s well-being — and this experience has shown me that this facility cannot be relied upon.

My two daughters have attended this daycare for about 6 months now and everything has gone pretty smooth. What attracted me to this place was the clean smell as soon as I entered the door for the tour. Every other daycare we toured had a funky smell, but Discovery Tree smelled very clean and there is always teachers cleaning at the end of the day. When I pick my girls up the classrooms are cleaned or being cleaned. The teachers are all very nice and seem to do a good job with the kids. My girls are happy here and are smiling/happily playing in the pictures they post. Sometimes the staff is better at posting pictures than other times, it is usually not every single day. But if you request some they will do it! Overall really happy with this place and hope that it continues to go well!

Our son has attended Discovery Tree Academy for the last 3 years. We have been so happy with our experience there. The staff is friendly and loving towards the kids while also helping them practice good behavior. We are updated throughout the day regarding activities and lessons. We feel that they genuinely care about and want the best for our son. If you are looking for a clean, safe, family oriented place to bring your kids, DTA fits the bill.

I LOVE DTA! Like most parents, I was terrified of leaving my little with strangers. I spent a long time checking out different pre-school options in the area. The staff at Discovery Tree have made me feel confident about the choice I made. Not only is my little able to be there all day, he's actually learning and getting ready for kindergarten. It's awesome that they offer breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day. I can also tell the teachers genuinely care about the kids. Tim, the owner, was incredible when I did my tour. Ms. Heidi, Chelsie, Lauren, Phoebe, ALL OF THEM are amazing. I'm so grateful I found DTA.
