When we moved to the area, we visited many daycares and I cried when we left Discovery Point Lutz because we finally found a place that our baby and toddler could thrive. Ms Rachel and Ms Magy up front have hearts of gold and are always happy to see everyone in the morning. Not only that, they get to know each child and remember things about them. All of the teachers are kind, loving, encouraging, supportive and enjoy what they do. We receive updates all throughout the day in the app for both kids which was a non negotiable for me and gives us piece of mind. The classrooms are very clean and the kids wash hands all throughout the day. (We have noticed less sickness than in our previous daycare so it’s working) The teachers are excellent at communicating everything big or small which we really appreciate. We truly feel that our kids are so loved and cared for here and we are SO thankful for Discovery Point Lutz.

My children have attended Discovery Point Lutz since infancy and are now thriving as school‑agers. From the infant room through VPK and beyond, the teachers and management have shown genuine care and deep knowledge of each child’s needs. As a result, my children have flourished academically, socially, and emotionally. Discovery Point delivered measurable academic growth: my daughter left VPK reading and confidently handling double‑digit math. Miss Maggy and the VPK team provided exceptional instruction and encouragement. Equally important is the school’s clear commitment to social‑emotional development; staff consistently create a warm, supportive environment where children build confidence and strong interpersonal skills. The program offers engaging enrichment and memorable experiences—field trips, Monday fun days, canvas painting, ice cream parties, and visits to parks and museums—that keep kids excited about learning. The school’s investments are evident and thoughtfully targeted: turfed playgrounds, new buses, regular in‑house shows (reptile, music, bird, and storytelling presentations), and other enhancements that enrich daily life. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities. I regularly see owners and maintenance staff addressing small issues, and the facility’s attention to detail is exceptional. Classrooms and common areas are well maintained, and the pleasant, non‑harsh scent from essential oil diffusers contributes to a calm atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Discovery Point Lutz. My children love it here and often don’t want to leave at pickup—a true sign of a program that is both caring and effective.

Activities & Learning: The activities at Discovery Point are incredible. From creative arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor time, music, and story-time to structured learning moments, every day is full of thoughtful, engaging experiences. My daughters are not only having fun but also growing, learning, and becoming more confident. It is so much more than daycare; it’s a place where children truly thrive. Communication & Management: The management team at Discovery Point is outstanding. They are professional, organized, and always approachable. I appreciate how they stay on top of communication, keep parents informed, share updates, and make you feel included in your child’s day. You can tell they deeply care about the families they serve. Overall Experience: My daughters have blossomed socially, emotionally, and academically since joining Discovery Point. They’re excited every morning when we arrive and come home happy, and that alone speaks volumes. Discovery Point has become an essential and cherished part of our family’s routine, and we are so grateful for the love and dedication they show. We’ve been part of the Discovery Point family for two years now and couldn’t be happier.
