Discovery Place Preschool For Little People

This is the worst school ever!!! They do not pay attention to the kids and get mad when you approach them about your child when your child gets hurt. The director is extremely unprofessional and she does not care about her students that go there. They will kick your child out if they don’t like what you have to say when something isn’t right with your child. They over charge you on purpose and they take off too many days in a year and not to mention none of the teachers are actual train professionals they literally hire anyone ! Don’t bring your child there if there safety means anything to you !!!!!

My son has been attending Discovery place since 2016. I love their preschool program! I've seen the transition that my son has had both academically and mentally and I'm grateful. Initially my child was having difficulty with both academics and behaviorally. They helped me get the services he needed and he's now doing much better. In March of 2018 he became very sick and not only did the entire class (Lucky Lions Miss Erica) make and send GET WELL SOON CARDS to the hospital but the director (Mrs. Tonya Davis) came to visit him. To me that showed that we were more than just income to the business but WE ARE FAMILY. That truly means a lot to me. It is very clean and they have a great referral program! They often have weekend sessions where you can have vision and hearing test done for your child (My child got free prescription glasses). And even a book bag give away before the school year begins. The only thing that was concerning to me is the turnover. When I expressed this during one of the frequently scheduled parent meetings it was explained that they only want THE BEST for my child! Wouldn't you?!

Staff has been nothing but nice and communicative since day 1 didn’t expect to actually have such a great experience judging from the reviews but glad I gave them a chance ! I appreciate the routine they have in place for letting you know how your kids day went , how they behaved , things they did and even what they ate EVERYDAY ..most importantly my pre schooler has learned more in this school in his short time being enrolled then he has learned in any of the other programs and schools he has been in. Oh and did I mention that he loves it there nomore back to school blues every Monday or tears when I leave him in the morning he actually looks forward to spending his day with his teachers & friends !

Transitioning from one state to a new state is not always easy, especially when changing school for kids. Discovery Place preschool made my transition very smooth. I was provided with tons of information and answers to every question or curiosity I had. i was intrigue when I did the application process the Teachers do a meet and Greets which include the parents and child I feel welcomed on my very first visit and my child is already showing academic improvements. I’m happy I chose this school & I’m excited to see the rest of results they bring out in my child.. let show these others school that Discovery place is marching to success

My daughter attends the center in yeadon. She has been at the center since she was two months old. The staff treats my child as she is their own child. Its is always nice and clean and has friendly staff. She is currently in the one year old room expanding her vocabulary. Next she will be going to the two year old. And I hear that teacher is a potty room expert. Last but not least the young lady Dana answers all questions and being helpful when I come in or call. Discovery place is a great center.
