Discovery Island

Discovery Island is the best! We love Mrs. Pam and how much she takes care of DILC. Mrs. Shan, Mrs. Courtney and Mrs. Jaylynn have such a special place in our hearts. The way they care for these kids is unmatched. I couldn't imagine sending my child anywhere else. We love DILC!

We have had 3 continuous years of my son attending DILC, and 1.5 years for my daughter--and can I just say--I feel like we were and are incredibly lucky to call this daycare home. Our teachers throughout the years have become family. Day in and day out, I have always felt a real sense of relief knowing my kiddos are in fantastic hands and someone is truly looking out for their best interest. Any daycare will have waves of turnover, periodic increases of illnesses, and other unexpected events such as weather, but I feel fully informed and if I ever have a question or concern, I am well received. It's not only that they do what's expected, they very often go beyond. And the years of experience we have had here, tell me that. My guy started at 2.5 y/o, right at the tail-end of covid. He was very speech delayed and had already had multiple surgeries for tubes. I was worried not only of how he'd learn and socialize, but how he'd respond and start to develop among peers that may have been ahead in these same areas--I felt seen by each teacher he had, as well as the director of the school. This has continued from that first day to him now graduating pre-K. I genuinely believe that the goal of this daycare is to provide these experiences for everyone and I feel truly grateful to have years that reflect just that.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, I am updating my review to reflect the poor management. As wonderful as my sons teacher has been (she is incredible), the management leaves much to be desired. If you’re looking for honestly, transparency, and respect—look away.I pray that the owners get a quick grasp on their managers before this amazing daycare takes a turn for the worst. ORIGINAL: Brandi is absolutely wonderful—hands down, the best! Having a mother who owned a daycare for thirty years set a high standard, but Brandi continues to meet and surpass the expectations. Our son loves going to school and learns something new daily. He brings home multiple crafts per week and engages in a structured schedule to keep him focused (a tough feat for a 2yo). Highly recommend

Wonderful! Teachers and staff are very attentive and friendly . Very clean. They make every day fun for the toddlers and teach them so much ! I've always been hesitant about childcare, however this center has put me at such ease and my toddler literally loves to come. She literally runs inside ! Highly recommend

My oldest daughter attended Discovery Island for almost two years and my youngest daughter just started. The facility is always very sanitary. The teachers are very caring of the children and supportive of each other. My wife and I are very pleased with the care and quality of Discovery Island.
