Our oldest, who is 3, absolutely adores Kayla. Kayla is super nurturing and puts in so much effort in cheering her up after drop-off or if she is having a bad day. Angie is also phenomenal, and our middle daughter loves her and thinks she is so funny. Angie also does their hair and is extremely caring, which is perfect for my sensitive middle daughter. Sara also cooks and cares for them, and our daughters make a beeline to the kitchen area regularly to look for her. Our baby boy loves everyone at this facility, they don't hesitate to talk to him, play with him, and be affirming of him, even on his hard days. He is never sad when he is in their care. Karen's facility has been fantastic for our children. We couldn't speak more highly of them. Karen is very personable and considerate of our family. They are on top of incident reports. Any questions or concerns have been promptly handled. Karen goes above and beyond, as does the rest of the staff. One day, our furnace broke, and we arrived cold and a little distraught, and she lent us a additional space heater out of concern for our family. Thank you, so much, for an incredible experience.
We have had a great experience with Ogden Discovery Clubhouse since we started. Ms. Angie has had excellent communication with me about how my child did, or the tactful hard talks when my kiddo was being too much. My child gets excited when we spot her our in the community and wants to run over to say hi! Ms Sarah is so sweet each morning when we drop off, she makes sure to greet us (even if i can't see her). She makes sure my kid gets to and from school safely each day. Each interaction with the office staff is always outstanding as well! They all deserve 10 ⭐️ each!
My three children all ranging from infant to toddler to school age have been coming here for a couple of months. This is my first time ever using a daycare and I was very nervous and sort of happy this was an easy choice close enough to grandparents house and the hours they have available since my schedule changes weekly. We have had a bumpy ride they get sick pretty frequently and are sent home when necessary but I also don’t think as a parent it would be the right choice to take your child anywhere if you know they can spread around what they have. We love how bilingual the teachers are and have been happy with how my kids get treated and noticed everyday they go. And I am absolutely happy with the charting they do everyday about lunch times and diapers changed and I feel much better knowing we have to check in our kids and out to make sure everything looks great. Thank you Karen and also my mom wants to thank Judith she’s so caring to my youngest two. But I want to thank all the teachers this job isn’t easy at all and very draining. Updating 2 years later and I am very unsatisfied with the care of my kids. I feel very outed and bullied for one of my kids who has behavioral issues. He doesn’t even last an hour before I get a call to get him. This has cost me a lot of problems at work and for my family members as well the state is paying full time amount for 4 kids and on top a co pay and yet they can’t handle and are overwhelmed and are not trained to deal with behaviors. They rather just not deal with it. So upsetting I can’t trust my child to be taken care of the people who truly had patience and love for kids are no longer working there and there’s too many kids for teachers to handle different personalities if you’re child has a disability either physical mental verbal they are not trained or have the compassion to deal with these things. If your child is perfect and no issues potty trained listens and is over the age of 6 I think you’ll be great. But they can’t handle the early stages anymore.
My son has been going here for over 3 years. It’s been a great experience! I love that I get updates throughout the day about what they are doing. They learn so much to get ready for elementary, and has a great family feel. They say it takes a village and I feel that miss Karen (the director) has been a part of that. Me and my son love it there and I wholeheartedly wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.
I can't say enough great things about Nikola, the assistant director! It's evident that Nikola has a genuine love & passion for taking care of children, and it shows in the exceptional level of care she provides. I’ve know her for 10+ years and can say she’s has always had such an admirable calm demeanor and best interest at heart, especially when it comes to kids. Her sweet and nurturing personality creates a nurturing and positive atmosphere for everyone ❤️ she’s the best!!!
