What Parents Say
This appears to be Delaware Technical Community College rather than a child development center. Reviews are from college alumni and students praising the institution's academic quality, faculty, campus facilities, and affordability. No actual daycare parent reviews are present.
Do Not Go Here. It's a terrible school. The students that are rating it well haven't been anywhere else. If you have no other options, at least avoid the Wilmington location. Stanton has much better staff and facilities. Though, there is still a lot left to be desired. A lot of teachers are really bad at their jobs. This is not coming from a student that struggled. I typically did well in my classes. It was a horrible shame to see other students struggling because of the incompetence of the teachers. Go to Wilmington University or University of Delaware. Delaware Tech is a joke. It's better to get a little student debt and go to a nice school where you will actually graduate and get a job in your field that pays well. The attitudes of the staff here, including teachers, are so negative and condescending. They would not be acceptable in any other industry. They act that way because a lot of people going in are coming from high school and they don't know any better. Bullies run rampant. The management is incompetent or does not care.
The people who work in the admissions office are some of the most uncaring and rude people I have ever spoken to. I say spoken "to" and not "with" because I may as well have been talking to a recorded message. No one was willing to make any sort of effort to help me. I was billed $500 for a class I didn't even know I was signed up for. I haven't been a student there for 10 years! After many frustrating calls I finally got someone to tell me to fill out and mail in a form refuting the bill. It was denied with no clear reason. They then hand me over to a collection agency without giving them any details whatsoever. So after months of this bs I now have to pay for this class or face legal trouble. Thanks Del Tech!
I graduated delteh in 1994. Had a very successful career. Great professors that cared about the students. Highly recommend.
Pretty good and clean campus! Staff is always very friendly and all the structure and infrastructure are in a good condition. Definitely my favorite campus I’ve been to so far.
I went to a discussion general Public with Delaware 's only U.S. Congresswoman. A great lady for the issues of Today. She is worth her third term coming up in November 2020. She wants to justice save the environment and help others, who want or need help.
