Dee Dees Place @ Fairland

Absolutely recommended! Our 5 year-old daughter went to Dee Dee's last summer, and we were very pleased with the staff, the programs, and the care given to her. It is a very safe and clean environment, and the facility is designed with keeping the children in age-appropriate groups, doing age-appropriate activities. She enjoyed it and looked forward to going there every day. I was pleased with the attention Dee Dee's gave to keeping the kids academically stimulated during the summer.

My friend 2 boys use to go to Dee Dees for years. At the time she use to love Dee Dees. She said a lot of good stuff about Dee Dees until this new teacher came called Ms. Laquita was snitching a lot telling my friends everything that was going on in Dee Dees. One time I was with my friend when Ms Laquita called her about one of Ms. Rebecca not treating my friend kids right and taking the other families side over her blah blah blah. and my friend got mad and took her kids out from Dee Dee. Besides that, she always talks good about how nicely and friendly they were. Now I’m 3 months pregnant, I’m looking for a daycare before I have a baby. I really want to come to Dee Dees. Hopefully my child doesn’t have to be with Ms. Laquita.

Dee Dee's Place Daycare doesn't value their customers . My kids been there for the past 10 years. We were happy when Ms. Diane and Ms. Kim because, Ms. Kim would stay outside and watch the kids most of the time also, Ms. Filomena and Ms. Yasmin are the best and always will be the best. When my kids were in there class, They never had any problems. Ms. Rebeca. She was a good teacher and very sweet. Im being honest. But she is not a good director. Being a good teacher doesn't mean you can be a good director. (ATTENTION ALL PARENTS) Dee Dee's Place is not a safe place to go anymore. My kids has a lot of problems sense she started being director. I witness my child was beating by one boy. I had to jump out of my car to save my child. When I picked up my kids, That same boy was putting a plastic barrel on my child eyes. My son was crying and my child eye was red. The boy said it was a accident, But I confront the boy. I reported that, Nobody got back to me at all. In fact, Someone told me that, she went joke with the boy. How does that make any sense. That doesn't make him learn a lesson. One of the boy also jumped on him and made him bleed. Also broke his glasses. It was brand new. At the time, I just got it two weeks ago. I contacted the teacher since she was the witness. Ms. Lakeida said it was not a accident. She even told me, she talked to the boy's father to pay my child's glasses. After when I called Ms. Rebeca, (LISTEN TO THIS) Her first excuse was, She lied and said, "The boy is only 4 years old" and I told her "Even if the boy is 1 years old, I don't care" Since the teacher ready old me it was no accident, So i want my child glasses to be payed, since this was not the first time. One time, they went to the movie theaters, They told my child to take his glasses off sense it was a 3D movie. They told him they would get his glasses back. But he never did. I called the movie theaters workers, So they couldn't find it. So i had to pay $300 to get him new one Back to Ms. Rebeca excuse about the boy who said he was 4 years old, But was actually 8 years old. So second excuse was, Why my child couldn't defend himself. I don't teach my kids to hurt anybody. Third excuse, She said "Just between me and her The boy is so rough". Forth excuse, The boy parents have 5 kids, They are always behind to pay their bills, She said they cannot afford to pay my child glasses. Ms. Rebeca words, Not mine. I felt bad for the boy's family. I asked Ms. Rebeca to tell the boy family, "Can they pay half, and I pay half". So, The boy family said "If I can go get a new estimate price" at the time, The one the boy broke. It was a less then two weeks ago glasses. I had a receipt for that, But they insist they want a new one from my doctor. I got that for them. Next, she told me again, Why my son insurance don't pay for it. I told her that anybody in America that insurance only pay once per year. The glasses they broke. I payed out of pocket. Next, They asked me, "Why are the glasses so expensive" (Funny So Funny) That's why I asked to pay back because i spent too much money for it. After too many questions, I asked the director to tell the parents to meet me at my doctors office so they can asked them any question they want. So, now the parents said, "They contacted 3 lawyers" But, the 3 lawyers said the mom of the boy doesn't have to pay (SO FUNNY) Anybody I explained this history to them, they laugh. How come the parents can afford to pay three lawyers, But couldn't pay my son's glasses. I took my kids out of dee dee's because my kids safety is more important. After all, Dee dee's doesn't care about any kids safety and they lied on report later to make it sound like accident even thought I have proof what I was told before . Even now the government sent them over $2,000 free for kids even though they don't go there anymore. But happy to take the money. One thing I agree one thing about the parents child who broke my son's glasses said to someone " Dee Dee's should help me pay the glasses". I use to have respect for Ms. Diane. I don't anymore.

My son just started at the location in silver spring just a month ago, the staff is so friendly and helpful and welcoming. My 3 yr old son loves it!! they have been very accommodating to helping out a single mom as my schedule is ever changing and they have been so helpful. especially with the wednesday night parents night. I love it!

My son has been going here for a few months. This place is very professional as well as through in helping you child get socialization with other children thier age. The teacher to. Child ratio is very good compared to others in the area. Wouldn't suggest anywhere but dee Dee's place
