Very pleasant YMCA with a wonderful amount of cardiovascular equipment in good shape. Nice open free weight area and other machines intermixed with cardio machines. Small pool and decent locker rooms. They do have a sauna and an awesome area for kids and teens upstairs. Very nice local YMCA.
Great gym! You pretty much have everything over here. It has tons of equipment for any kind of workout. Just leave your laziness at home and come over here. Boxing bag, and a speed bag is a very cool bonus, not to mention a sauna. Great, and helpful staff. 100% recommended!
I go there to exercise and walk. I have a heart and lung condition that keeps me indoors 90% of the time. So, I can walk for 30 minutes or so inside an air conditioned building. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy myself there and get to keep my body in motion. In 1 year I went from 270 lbs to 218 lbs. My Diabetes went from A1C 8.5 to A1Cof 6.2. So, YES I highly recommend the YMCA.
We have recently joined. When first arriving we was welcomed with a tour and lots of information. The ladies were sweet and so helpful. We have visited three times since joining and each time welcomed with a smile and a hello. Great friendly staff, very nice large variety of wellness equipment and a very clean environment.
Doesn't stay open long enough to have access to everything. If you need to use the daycare, you only get 1 hour, you have to schedule it no sooner than 24 hrs. in advance. They run the fans in the weight room too high so you freeze in the colder months when exercising and get sick. The pool/whirlpool is always an issue for a few reasons. I want to cancel my membership so bad sometimes.
