If I could give zero stars I would!! So my son was supposed to start at this child care facility on Monday but when my husband and I went to drop him off we were told that they had 3 people call in and they were short staffed so my son wouldn’t be able to stay. Let me remind you my husband and I both work full time jobs which of course is why we even needed child care in the first place and we had already given this place $100 the Friday before to cover his registration fee. So instantly we were like okay and what about our money? Can we have that back? To which we were told oh we will have our staff back tomorrow so he can start then. Okay. Well after going back home my husband and I decided we did not want their services anymore because of the first impression they left on us. Not to mention would they turn us away and say our son could not stay every time they were short staffed? I expressed all of this in an email to the director and asked for my money back since no services were rendered and they turned him away to which she replied the fee was non refundable and she was sorry for the confusion but we could bring our child in the following day that they were not short staffed. I have previously worked in child care and never once experienced anything like this. When you run any business it is your job to cover staff vacancies and make the schedule work whether it means management taking over a position or moving things around to make the day work. These people are incompetent, unreliable, and unprofessional. Clearly a sign that my child did not belong there!
1 star is too kind ! This place is terrible. After a year of bringing my son to this daycare; we have had it. The owner has one of the worse attitudes. They cannot stay staffed, and I am sure that one of the biggest reasons is the attitudes. My child would come home with a black eye, and I could not get straight answer. Not only did this happen once but twice. They blamed a child for anything, and everything. They have one young lady to ten plus children. They should not be caring for young minds if they absolutely do not care like this. Please, do not send your children here.
If I could give less than one star I would, the owner is one of the nastiest people I’ve ever met, she is one of the rudest people ever!!! She should have her buisness license taken away, kids are supposed to be sent home if sick but yet instead she lets them come in and get the rest sick, which is why they had a hand foot and mouth disease outbreak in one of their rooms, the owner is a heartless woman. TAKE YOURE KIDS ANYWHERE ELSE !!!
My daughter went here for 5 years from newborn to preschool. Due to circumstances I didn’t have the luxury of a normal maternity leave when I had her and had to find a daycare to put her in at 5 weeks old. I don’t choose lightly who looks after my child especially in todays world. D D’s Daycamp understood my concerns putting her in at such an early age and eased all my worries. I had over an hour commute to work and on many occasions they worked with me when I was late due to wrecks or traffic I couldn’t control on the interstate. They have an amazing schedule with the kids and truly teach them fundamentals and development skills. My daughter came home at 18 months old barely talking and was singing me her abcs! Then came home at the age of 3 telling me her numbers in Spanish she was always so happy and safe and loved there they treated her as their own I would recommend them to anyone!
My son attended here for two years. My son could be difficult at times and they were wonderful with him. The teachers were excellent . This is a very clean establishment. Healthy food choices for children. Always professional and courteous. I highly recommend D D's Daycamp. It prepared my son for kindergarten.
