Awful experience. I was just trying to get information on classes and apprenticeship programs and I was given the biggest run around. The only reason its a two star is because of the beautiful woman who answered the phone at the davie campus. She gave me the most help and actually send me via phone to a person. I was told to go to Jenny Ferguson which was a bit of a hassle. I told her what I needed and instead of explaining anything and why she wasn't the one to go to, she told me to go to Continuing education to help me with registration which confused me even more because I didn't want help registering, I wanted information om a specific thing. On top of the fact that I was asking about a class and they said last week I could still register. So I've spent a week trying to get ahold of people and get information on a program just to be told today when I finally got to the right people "the class has been full for weeks" and I'd have to wait until the fall semester. I would have been putting my energy into other schools if I had been told that originally. This was an awful situation when I have already never wanted to go back to school. Don't make them make you feel stupid if anything like this happens to you, it's not you it's them.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Davidson Davie Community College! From the professors to the maintenance guys. Friendly and helpful. The professors want to see you succeed and it shows through there commitment to students.

Mr. William Pass, Mr. Ronaldinho, Ms. Newcomb and Ms.Nickens are all absolutely wonderful! They took time out of their busy schedules of meetings and lunches to help my daughter. Thank you to this great group of people ❤️

I absolutely loved my education here. I am in my 30’s, I just had a high school diploma. I never thought I could do this. With the help of the DDCC foundation, TRiO, and the tutoring center I made it with almost a 4.0 GPA. I barely graduated high school at North Davidson. I did not think that I was smart enough. I was wrong and DDCC showed the way. I loved my teachers. I did 80% of it online. I encourage you to apply to every scholarship there is here. And join TRiO! Good luck, you can do this! I am now in WSSU’s bachelor nursing program. Where will you go? Get started!

A great college with a supportive staff from enrolling to graduating. In my second program at the school and it is a blast. I feel supported at every moment. I recommend taking any classes here you can rather they be gen ed or a specific program. The EMS program is my program of choice and has been a delight thus far.
