Daystarz Child Care Center

I had both of my girls with Daystarz starting as infants. We have always received great communication from the teachers as well as the director. When I chose to stay at home with my girls about a year and a half ago, Daystarz continued to work with me. When I do need to fill in at work, I have always been able to make arrangements with them to cover childcare for me. We have been very happy with Daystarz and would recommend it to anyone needing childcare in the Grove City area.

Best childcare in grove city! Very much like family! I have a school aged, pre-K and toddler II and every teacher is very engaged with each child. Everyday I’m updated with how each child day was! My babies loves their teachers and count down to see them again Monday morning after the weekend. Each teacher and the owner makes it a priority to teach every child for the future and give amazing care. these are role models, and great staff to have with your children while you work! I couldn’t be happier with the care we receive

I cannot in good conscious recommend this daycare. The owner herself seems very genuine but unfortunately she isn't there much of the time and some of the 'teachers' aren't following proper procedures or vested in the children's wellbeing. I spent about 3 weeks touring and checking out reviews of new daycares before choosing a new one and my grandson is so much happier and doesn't beg me not to take him to daycare anymore. He hasn't had one incident report and is thriving in his new environment. He told me today he loves his daycare and it makes him so ver happy and then said his old daycare was very bad and sad. This made me so happy he's so much happier now but extremely sad he felt so sad about his last one. He came home more than once with unexplained marks and twice with finger marks where his arm appeared to be squeezed too hard. The second time he finally told me his teacher pulled on his arm. This is unacceptable and was the moment I had to remove him immediately. I informed the owner who just replied wishing us luck and not addressing the fact one of her employees physically harmed him, frankly I don't think she believes it happened but I 100% believe in my heart he's telling the truth. Like I said she herself has been nothing but patient and kind to us but unfortunately when she's not there I'm not sure the person running things is doing things correctly. His new daycare is very structured and they have a set schedule and lesson plans each day along with regular field trips and activities. My recommendation is to take your time to look and compare many daycares before making your choice, afterall you are entrusting your most valuable treasure in the world with the center you choose. Hopefully Daystarz makes some changes and things there get much better.

Awful daycare there all crammed in one area. They sit you kids in front of a tv. There not always a teacher around your kids. They will verbally abuse your kids by telling your kids they are bad and out of control when they arnt bad with anyone else who watches them. They force 3-4 years olds to take a nap or lay still for an hr with no music or anything. I don’t think there very educated on kids grow out of naps. Also they will try to medically diagnose your children with ADHD and ODD which neither of the kids have there just being 4. This place needs shut down and they should educate them self on what O.D.D. Is before saying those words out of there mouth.
