Dalton state college is a very good School. But I was on the hiking trails the trails over someone that is in good shape because they are steep you're on the side of a mountain one of them you and well mapped out
Elevation changes. Quiet. Peaceful get away. That is near everything. Trials vary from 1 mile-ish or more.
Great for walking, basketball, tennis! Great for 4year old, and even 91 year olds…. Great safe place to relax
Trail at first was fine. We entered through the big rock trail. However we tried going thru the college creek trail. But was hard to i dicate where we were. Nearing the cascade trail. The signs were wrong. We ended up coming out through an exit that was not marked. Just glad we got out.
Loved these trails. Big rock trail is pretty difficult when starting from South campus. It gains elevation rather quickly but makes up for it when you reach the other side of the hill. Nice secluded spot that seems like you're miles away. The creek crossings at the college creek trail were nice since my kids love natural water features like that. Still haven't done the Cascade trail but it is next on the list.
