Crouthers Academy For Early Childhood Development

Crouthers Academy is truly something special. My children have been there from the infant room through preschool, and I cannot say enough good things about this center. The teachers and staff genuinely love the kids, and it shows every single day. The communication is outstanding, the curriculum is creative and engaging, and they make learning so much fun with special themes, outdoor play, and enriching activities. My kids are excited to go every morning, which says everything. Taylor and Shannon are incredible leaders, and they’ve created a warm, positive, and nurturing environment that is rare to find. The food is great, the facility is wonderful, and the parent community is an added bonus. Choosing Crouthers was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot here, take it.

We truly could not love this daycare more. From the very beginning, they have cared for my son like he’s one of their own. As a full-time working mom, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is safe, loved, and thriving while you’re away. My son has grown so much developmentally and socially, and he walks in happy and comes home happy, which says everything. Communication is consistent, thoughtful, and transparent. They keep us informed, answer questions quickly, and handle everything with so much professionalism and kindness. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of this community!

We absolutely love Crouthers Academy and so does our son! The teachers have always went above and beyond to make sure my son has been comfortable, happy, and well fed (he’s very picky 😩). Any issues or concerns with my child have been addressed quickly and appropriately. There are too many wonderful things to list about our experience here.

I can’t say enough great things about Crouthers Academy. We have had all three of our children there since 2019 who are treated by staff like their own. The owner and both directors are extremely hands on, and always welcoming with a smiling face. Each of the teachers my children have had have been amazing, and always communicating via Brightwheel app and in person. Finding somewhere you feel your children are safe and loved is so important when choosing a daycare. Crouthers is so much more than just a daycare, it’s a family.

Crouthers Academy is THE quintessential daycare/preschool. My son has been attending Crouthers for over 4 years, since he was 6 weeks old. As a full time working mother, finding the best school at fair pricing was my top priority. I have to say that Crouthers exceeded my expectations and hopes. The staff is caring, attentive, interactive, and you can tell they truly care about the children. I have no doubt that this is because they learn from the top down. Leslie Crouthers, the owner, is very involved with both the Chesterfield and the Eureka locations. She is hands on, has been in the child care and school industry for decades, has two daughters of her own, and is a genuinely good soul with a child's best interests at the forefront of every decision. I am blessed and honored to be able to have let my son attend this amazing school for so long. It will be hard when he graduates next year to go to Kindergarten. But I know that he will be prepared and ready thank to Crouthers exceptional teaching staff and dedication.
