This daycare is AMAZING. My wife and I are teachers and have been blown away with the progress of our son. We have been to several different daycare centers over the years and this one is THE BEST. They truly care for our boys like family.
My two kids have been attending CYEC for 5 years and they love it there. The staff and directors truly care for every child. Seeing that metro schools would probably be closed for some time, they started planning virtual learning spaces for school-aged kids and hired great teachers to help the kids through this process. The directors have an open door policy and are always there to listen to concerns or new ideas. I love that I have these wonderful people in my kids’ lives. Thank you, Tonya, Cynthia, Amy and ALL the wonderful teachers for loving my kids and taking such great care of them.
This daycare is fantastic! They treat all the kids like family. They look out for all the kids and their entire family, especially the kids that used to go there that are now in school. They will move heaven and earth for their daycare kids and employees. As for the post and pictures posed by Dana, I find it interesting that her children have not been there in over a year and the pictures she posted are not even from CYEC.
I absolutely love this daycare. I toured their facility and my son started two days later. My son is 3 and a half and autistic. He is nonverbal and on a very short diet due to sensory issues. He just doesn't like to eat whole foods. His teacher, Britney, has been great. My son does not touch people outside of the family or show them attention but gets excited to see her. She is patient with him and takes the time to help him eat during lunch time. My heart goes out to all the ladies there that have worked with him. They don't treat him differently and they are very professional. I wanted him to feel like the other kids and have the same opportunities and this daycare allows that. I went through seven daycare's to find one that would take my son. I wouldn't put my child in any other daycare after being apart of this facility. If you get the chance I would highly recommend you check this place out. I don't just trust anyone with my children. This is the only place he has ever been left at when he is not with me. I trust them- and that is very important in today's time.
Our one and a half year old daughter has been at CYEC since she was about 5 months old. We have liked every teacher she has had apart from one who is no longer there. Ms Sarah, Jennifer and Kelsey are all amazing and really care and love the kids. Over the summer the toddlers have a water day every Friday which we are excited about! I only wish that the lunch menu was a little better but you can always provide supplemental snacks and lunch if that’s a dealbreaker. UPDATE: it feels like they are currently understaffed. Most days I see a different teacher in our daughter’s room.
