Creative Minds Academy

Creative Minds is excellent! All the teachers are very attentive and have fun while learning as well. The staff are all very friendly and great with the kids/parents. Since my child is of school age now, they do offer morning and afternoon slots as well. Also, transportation to and from his school and Creative Minds. Oh, they also do a Parents Night Out once in a while on Friday nights! A couple times a month. Great facility, great people who care!

Our two grandsons, now 2 and 4 are lucky enough to live just up the hill from Creative Minds, so when it came time for Mom to return to work, the choice seemed obvious and turned out to be the best option to staying home with the help of a Nanny and few can afford that. Our family couldn't. We often pick the grands up for some quality grandparent time so have popped in at all hours. You should know that for years I provided short term foster care to troubled teens; I am also a licensed therapist; I directed mental health crisis teams for families and children in NYCity before, during, and after 9/11; I taught human behavior courses at both Columbia University and Smith College Schools of Social Work; finally, I have published 18 parenting and emotional fitness training books. When I say Creative Minds deserves a 10 rating, I know what I am talking about.

Our son enjoyed going to school at Creative Minds and says he'll miss his friends and teachers when he starts kindergarten next week. As a parent, I always felt like my child was safe in their hands.

Started great, then new owner took over. Pulled our children. Majority of teachers ( I can name 4 and a director that left) have left and the classes are getting emptier. Replacing them with under qualified babysitters not teachers. New owner is horrible. I met the new owner once me didn't have kind words. Place is a mess since she took over, spends no time at school and lacks seven basic communication skills. Horrible facility
