Love this Daycare. We have been going for a few months now and My son litterally jumps out and runs to class because he is so excited to go. My only complaint is the pay schedule and system or lack there of. They only take checks. No online system . The paydates are hand written on a post it. I actually over paid our second week here but didnt understand yet what I was paying for. I just trusted that I must have a prorate situation because we didnt start at the first of a month. Then a couple weeks later I paid and she told me I was behind on payments. I looked at my calendar and was like I dont think Im behind that much if at all. Come to find out she had it down that I started him earlier than I did and had already prorated so I got home and pulled out my proof of when he started and wrote it out. I called her she apologized and said she would redo her math and get back to me on what I actually owe. Moral of the story: I need to write down the dates I am paying for on my check in the notes. (Face palm should have done that anyways) Conclusion: I would recommend this daycare to anyone because they are great with my son. They have an open door policy. Cameras for safety. It is run with education as a huge focus. They pay options and tracking suck but my kids safety ,wellbeing , and happiness are what matter most. So it is a 5 start location for me!
Creative Learning is absolutely the best child care in Del Rio! The facility is always clean and you feel welcomed. The children are well taken care of and I have never had any issues. I love the fact each classroom has a curriculum they follow during the school year and they host a Pre-K Graduation at the end of the year. In the summer they have activities scheduled for the children which vary from swimming at the Moore Pool to Cinemark Movies 8 to tours at different businesses/corporations. The most important part is knowing your child is being taken care of properly and learning at the same time!
If there was a rating for zero stars I would of selected that one . We had many issues with this daycare. Main issue though, was that my daughter had an incident at this daycare that was reported to us after more than an hour ago from the when the incident happened . After finally being notified I called my husband because he was around the area and for him to go get her and check out her eye . He arrived a minute before I did and he said they had put her down to nap . My husband picked her up from the mat where she was napping and her eye was swollen and red with slight bleeding from the inside of the eye. I arrived there and right away I knew she needed medical attention it was obvious by just looking at her eye. Long story short after we took her immediately to a local Pediatrician in town he said she needed to see a Pediatric Opthamologist . I rushed her to SanAntonio that same day so she could get seen by the specialist and she was diagnosed with corneal abrasion to the left eye and hemorrhage to the left eye .
The staff are so loving and tender with the children. They do a party for the children every holiday and make sure everyone feels involved and invited. The kids sing, dance, and learn so much! My 3 year old loves going here and hugs his teacher and classmates daily.
Hands down best daycare establishment i have ever seen. I recommend it to anyone i know has good and honest people, secured location, and most reasonablely price for what my child is getting. Love it
