Creative Explorers After School Program

Our daughter has spent the last three years at Creative Explorers, progressing through all three classrooms—and we truly cannot recommend this place highly enough. From day one, we’ve felt incredibly fortunate to have found such a warm, nurturing, and enriching environment. The teachers go above and beyond in creating a thoughtful balance of learning, creativity, and play. Each day is filled with engaging activities—art and science projects, early writing, physical movement, and imaginative exploration—all within a safe and cheerful setting. They have a gift for keeping things both fun and developmentally challenging, meeting each child where they are. One of the things we’ve appreciated most is the tremendous support they've given our daughter emotionally and socially. When she needed a little extra guidance, they were always there—patient, caring, and intentional. The extended care program has also been a huge benefit for our family. Knowing she’s happy, stimulated, and surrounded by friends and teachers she loves brings us so much peace of mind. Speaking of teachers—our daughter absolutely adores every one of them. Each brings their own personality and strengths, and she’s always excited to go to school and share stories, drawings, or discoveries with them. The bonds she’s formed here are truly special. Creative Explorers also fosters a strong sense of community, organizing fun family events around holidays like Halloween, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. These gatherings have been a wonderful way to connect with other families and deepen our ties to this amazing school. It’s hard to put into words just how much this place has meant to our family. Saying goodbye will be incredibly difficult—but we’ll always be grateful for the loving foundation Creative Explorers has given our daughter.

Most amazing directors and staff!!! My kid is 2nd grade and still remembers how nice everyone was. We just looked through the year book (graduation book) and she remembered so much from the days at CE ❤️

We feel so fortunate to have our child at Creative Explorers. They love the school - they can’t stop talking about the teachers, the friends at school, and things they did! Teachers are warm, caring and loving. We know our child is in good hands. As its name suggests, Creative Explorers a preschool that values and nurtures creativity by hands-on experience. The play-based approach resonates well with my child and they learned so much because it’s fun! I also love that the teachers let the children decorate art in their own way rather than forcing them to follow certain pattern and make it “perfect”. I think that’s key to nurturing creativity. The school is very good at planning and celebrating key holidays/events and bringing the families together, so the families have developed strong bond and sense of community. The biggest event series of the year is the summer! The school plans for 6 weeks long of special curriculum/events including water play. My child got over fear of water because of that! We highly recommend Creative Explorers!

We’ve been in the Creative Explorers family for 6 years, and I can’t say enough good words about this place. For us feels like home! All the teachers are friendly, caring and encouraging. I appreciate their attention to details and their love for the kids. The environment is clean and safe. They play with different materials and their curriculum is amazing, they are doing a lot of art and craft. They constantly host fun events for both kids and families. It’s not easy leave your kids, but having such a trustworthy place make it easier. Highly recommend!

Creative Explorers is really an exceptional preschool & our experience could not have been better! The teachers- Ms Darcy, Ms Crystal, Ms Annie & Ms Barbara (& the other supporting teachers in the non bigs class) are professional, experienced and most importantly caring. They invest time into learning what is special about your child and work with you to improve on what needs improving My son was in the bigs class as his first completely by himself experience & he has grown leaps & bounds. He plays independently, he's grown to start to initiate play and playing together with friends. When we had periods of pushing boundaries & learning how to play with others, they were great with talking with us on how to work/reinforce these ideas at home. Also, my son is a late August bday & there was debate on whether to start kindergarten. Ms Darcy & Ms Crystal wrote a report on how our son was progressing and on what skills he was striving and also where he was struggling. They also met with my husband & I to discuss. These are things that really indicate going the extra mile! There is also a push to really interact with the other family's (although not a requirement ) which we found helpful. It's great in order to help the kids foster friendships in the class. This was further reinforced with family 'special' events such as fall festival, mothers/fathers day, & end of year celebration.
