What Parents Say
Country Dawn Preschool receives mixed reviews with most parents praising staff kindness, learning activities, and curriculum quality. However, serious concerns have been raised regarding safety protocols, classroom management, and communication during a critical incident involving staff misconduct.
My niece attends daycare here and with the current investigation going on with one of their teachers r8ping toddlers, the only way she found out about what was going on was social media - not from the own, director or any of the teachers. When brought to their attention, it wasn’t until the staff was arrested that she was removed from the facility. Do not recommend if you are wanting to keep your child safe and in good care.
Had my kiddos at this wonderful preschool and they thrived the whole time. The staff was always pleasant, kind and very patient. Teachers were excellent and really helped my kiddos achieve their goals and integrate into their classes. They learned well and were paid great attention while there, working through challenges with ease. The school/daycare also has awesome numerous activities for all kiddos and kept everyone engaged. Excellent childcare services. A+
Best daycare in the area, hands down. We have toddler twins and they absolutely love going to 'school' everyday. The staff here are the best, they all know us and are so friendly and caring. Getting spots here was such a blessing. The twins tell us about all their fun activities, their friends, and all the staff that they play with. Highly recommend! And great response during COVID.
Best. Daycare. Handsdown. We moved out of the area and my daughter still talks about the teachers she loved at Country Dawn and has been 4 months and she is just 3 years old. She would be sad to go home at the end of the day because she loved her teachers and friends so much. She learned Spanish and progressed well through the curriculum they taught that was well thought out and age-appropriate. The front desk team and owner Julie are the best part. So friendly and became like family. We miss them all dearly.
I went to check this place out, tour to see if I wanted to send my 4 year old there for pre-k this fall. Everything started great til I asked about the camera system. "We were having issues with it and instead of fixing it decide to just remove it. Then they sent me (alone) around the building to find the classroom. It's a bumpy trailer. It wasn't easy to find. I had to go back up and ask and again got directed around the building to the wrong door. Finally was told where to go. I get to the classroom and the lady (assistant I believe) ask why I hadn't just come through the building. Then my 4 year old was just trying to look around and all the other kids started teasing him, pushing him and taking stuff from him. The assistant did little. I never met the teacher. And upon leaving nobody even looked up to offer a good bye or have a nice day or ask what I thought or if I was interested. I'm very disappointed. I was hoping to send him to this place but now I have no doubt in my mind he won't ever go there and I will never refer anyone.
