I’ve been a parishioner at Corpus Christi since 1998. It is a very welcoming parish. The love of and for Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit resonates at every Mass. Homilies relate to Scripture and how its teaching can be applied in our modern times. Charity and love are intertwined with doctrinal and theological teachings. Truth is revered, respected and preached. God bless our pastor Fr Pat Arensberg and our beautiful family of faith.
A very faith filled and vibrant parish. We were visitors for a February 2024 Sunday Mass. Congregation covers all ages, which makes for a great community. Priest and his homily was so relatable, just loved it. We were visiting Mobile, and picked this parish because it is close to USA.
Beautiful church, peaceful atmosphere, convenient mass times and nice people.
Shortly after his election, the pope called for more interreligious dialogue as a way of "building bridges" and establishing "true links of friendship between all people". However, there is still a lot of work to be done considering the fact that a person has already been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ apparently is not good enough for the Father of this church to allow them to have communion with them. The fact that the Father felt he had to ask me if I am Catholic when I came to receive the body of Christ (while visiting my nana for a holiday) denounces how welcoming this church is to new people. I repeat: Apparently being baptized in Jesus name isn't good enough to recieve the body of christ (even at Easter) if visiting a Roman Catholic church despite the Pope's call to Catholics, Muslims and all believers “to unite and work together” in order to serve “as a guide for future generations to advance a culture of mutual respect in the awareness of the great divine grace that makes all human beings brothers and sisters.” Apparently, the body of Christ isn't about your relationship to Jesus but rather your relationship to THEIR church!👎 If it wasn't for the fact my grandparents are members of this establishment, I would have only given one verses two stars. Happy Easter.
Beautiful church,, my two kids attended from day care thru eight grade and graduated, the people there are amazingly friendly. When you go there you feel the love. The priests there are the best!
