First time going today and all I can say is that I was blown away. Everyone there is so welcoming and I felt the love! Definitely going back and thinking of getting involved. This is what I’ve been looking for in a place of worship. I also met some really great people and couples!
Absolutely a representation of Jesus’ teachings and compassion. No “love the sinner hate the sin” here; Only “love all of God’s people and creation”. If you are a new follower of Christ, interested in Christ’s core teachings, or trying to heal from past religious trauma then you will likely feel at home here. I finally found a church where my husband (an atheist) and my kids all enjoy participating in. It has such an active, caring, sacrificial community.
I can't say enough how much this church has centered me and how affirming and interesting every service has been in the almost 4 years since I've been attending. Nothing is done by rote, right before the CoVid restrictions, different musicians were showcasing church music, we had a wonderful Mariachi band once, and other groups were planned; there's a very accomplished and practiced choir, led by a wonderful soloist with a lovely voice, we've had guest musicians playing a variety of instruments, and just a wonderful mix of music, harmony, and joyous moments that feeds the soul. Then there's children's church which is simultaneously entertaining and educational, and the gospel readings are always a job to hear and learn from. Pastor Sue and the congregation are all so welcoming and I feel like our prayers and time worshiping together keep us grounded and following in our rightful paths alongside Jesus.
I love this church and community! Everything you want in church, open, loving and spiritually grounding experiences for our family.
In the 23 years I have been going here this church has been one of the best places in the world to help somebody they are kind caring and just an amazing place! Their yearly rummage sale is awesome and everyone is just awesome that works there!!
