Compton Children Academy

We absolutely love Compton Children's Academy! The teachers are fantastic—warm, proactive, and truly invested in each child’s growth. The program is so well-rounded, with extras like soccer and even swimming in the summer thanks to the pool right across the street! The outdoor space is one of the best in the area, with gardens, bikes, age-appropriate playgrounds, and plenty of room to run and play. Our son really enjoys time outside every day! They are incredibly organized, with great communication through their app and email, cameras for peace of mind, and quick responses whenever we reach out. Most importantly, our 4-year-old is happy, thriving, and feels so loved here. He’s made close friends who he’ll go to elementary school with in just a little over a year. We’re truly grateful for this special community and everything he’s learning!

We had a wonderful experience at Compton. We made a very quick change from a different school where the administration was not up to standard. Compton able to accommodate us immediately, processing everything on the spot so we had no gap in child care. All of the teachers and administrators are friendly and personable, we developed long term relationships with many who continue to check in on our daughter even after we've departed. From the live stream cameras to the direct cell phone access to teachers and admins, there is no comparison at any other school in terms of access to your child during the day. We were so sad to leave the area and CCA! An amazing option for those seeking quality care and community in the Centreville area.

I cannot personally say enough good things about Compton Children’s Academy or CCA. From our first visit to CCA my wife and I were thoroughly impressed. It is extremely clean and smells amazing. To the point that we have joked and said we want whoever cleans CCA to clean our house. At one point we had two children in CCA. Our son started when he was three going on four and our daughter started when she was still one going on two. They have learnt and grown so much in the time that they have been enrolled there. The teachers are simply amazing. They are very patient, caring, attentive and really do care about your child’s development. During the summer they offer an amazing summer camp that has field trips and activities to keep our little ones engaged, busy, and stimulated. Our son is now in kindergarten and the lessons he has learnt at CCA have really put him in a great position to succeed in elementary school. Like I said, I cannot say enough good things about this institution and I highly recommend anyone looking for daycare for the little ones to check out CCA

Our child has attended CCA since he was two. From an early childhood and child development background I knew I wanted a child care center that sparked a love of learning, used developmentally appropriate practices, and fostered a since of belonging. I wanted my son to learn to be a good friend, regulate his emotions, and grow independence. CCA was just that and more. My child would come home discussing the solar system, geography, different cultures and nature. He developed a sense of independence and showed pride in being a member of a community. He learned his first joke at CCA and was beyond ready for kindergarten- which I could see with their biannual assessments. And they did all of this with natural materials and play based learning, following culturally responsive and child led practices. We have built community at CCA- with the teachers, administrators, and other families. I knew that every person in the building knew my child. So much so, that we weren’t ready to leave and our child attends the before and after care for school aged children. The routine and trusted adults to start the transition to elementary school was what my son needed. We are grateful for CCA and would recommend to any family.

CCA is hands down the best school! The teachers, staff, and administration go above and beyond to help your children excel in the classroom while making learning fun. My children can't wait to go to school every morning and come home each night with stories about all of the fun activities they did that day. Charissa and her entire staff are incredible at communicating with parents. We are so thankful that we found this amazing school that has helped our children thrive!
