I hope the gymnastics equipment that our children use are cleaned regularly - and cleaned well. The parent viewing area is filthy and has not been cleaned since we started here a month ago. Very nice facility - but they need to do better with cleanliness.
I'm not very fond of the instructors for the girl group classes. They just tell them what to do without giving any proper instruction for technique. My 7 year old desperately wants to be able to do a cartwheel. She tries so hard but just can't get it. I was under the impression this class would help teach skills and techniques. They just bark orders without actually teaching them how to do the moves. They have never showed her where the proper placement of hands and feet should be. I paid for the class so we will ride it out for the last week and it's good exercise but that's about it.
My twins took gymnastics classes here for about a year while they were 4. The program was wonderful - the teachers were patient, set up great courses for the kids to practice skills, and made it fun. My kids really enjoyed going. We had not had experience elsewhere until we moved. I signed up my son again (my daughter is still on the waiting list) where we are now and it was *awful*. We miss our coaches and the program at Cobb Rec! Not to mention the value. I highly recommend this program for small children.
My daughter was three years old when she attended. The staff said she was not ready for Trumbling but my daughter enjoyed it. I signed her up for summer classes but couldn't make the class. She didnt attend none of the sessions. I was told that I could not get my money back and would have to pay again. I dont understand how a company could take money from a SINGLE parent without a care. I hope this do not happen to another parent. They also need to hire people that have patience with kids. Instead of saying their not ready. They hurt our feelings to the core and took my money. Im extremely upset and would not recommend this company for small kids.
My daughter has done about 3 sessions of lessons here so far and she loves it! They are hands on and really teach her. Prices are great too.
